    The Rockets should play this season as if it's unfinished business. Concerns are also a carry-over from last season in this order: health, turnovers, and FT shooting. Rebounding should be emphasized as well. Limit opponents second-chance points.

    Despite most of the team returning, with D-Mo still out and Howard not getting minutes with the rest of the starters during preseason, look for ragged edges for a while. Lawson will still be learning his teammates for a few weeks or more.

    They should be high for this first game. I just hope not too high leading to trying too hard which can also lead to early foul trouble.

    I think the Rockets win this one even if it is ragged. If they're clicking it might be over early. If so, defense may suffer because of a false sense of offense being all that's needed. A trap perhaps with GS coming in on Friday. If not,.. I'm sure GS will bring them to their senses quickly.

    That's an athletic lineup. But they need to limit turnovers. Run the offense through Lawson, and everyone stay within their game.

    This is the exact lineup that I'm very excited to see soon as well.

    Dwight can focus on defense (blocks and changing shots) and rebounds.

    D-Mo should get some touches in the post.

    Some P&R with Lawson/Harden to Dwight. Please no post ups for Dwight :(

    Ariza can look for steals to set up fast breaks and be ready for spot up 3's.

    And of course some nice BEARD penetration mixed somewhere in btween all that ;)

    McHale said he's the 1st big off the bench. So he should see a good amount of minutes tonight.

    Not that I watched the preseason religiously, but I am not hopeful that Montrez brings much to the table.

    I guess the thing about him, which he'll be the first big off the bench for, is he doesn't really screw up. Doesn't take bad shots. Can rebound. Is an ok enough defender for a rookie big.

    Plus, I guess there's no one else to be the first big off the bench at the moment.
