brace yourselves, all the complaining people are doing after each game is going to happen about 25 more times give or take. no surprise here.

Even though there were a ton of stupid/unforced turnovers and mistakes, IMO the Rockets still played hard.

I wish we had everyone playing in the preseason since a lot of the mistakes I saw could of been helped by playing together in the preseason.

The defensive rotations and switches were just horrible last night. I attribute that to lack of playing time together in the preseason and what I'm the most concerned about. The lack of rebounding and paint presence will be solved once Dwight and eventually Dmo gets back. The shooting will get better also but the cohesiveness that a team needs to have a good D just wasn't there last night.

Dwight was sorely missed but even him being there couldn't make up for how off everyone was. This definitely should be treated as a wakeup call to get it together and I'm positive they are going to come out clicking better than today against the Warriors. They looked past the Nuggets game and paid for it with an L.

Brewer played with fire but he was off. Everyone was passive and they made Jameer Nelson of all people look like a million bucks near the end there. Losses are gonna happen this year. Better to get this one out of the way before playing serious basketball and going on streaks.

We looked like Cleveland last year at the beginning, just a team that added a big player that might take time to mesh

I get the Rockets are a high variance team because of our extreme dependency on 1) making a lot of threes and 2) Harden getting a lot of calls, but it's troubling that our worst outcome is bad enough to lose to below average teams. You'd think between the team's floor and ceiling, our floor would still be good enough to beat bad teams. Obviously not.

A big player that will probably need to come off the bench.

The Chuck Wagon wins us that game last night. I'm afraid that we will sorely miss that type of leadership. Dad gum hard cap.

Somebody needs to sit Brewer down and tell him that him going 1 on 4 doesn't work. He ruins a lot of potential momentum plays trying to do things he simply cannot do.

We know based on last year that this team when not playing their best is still capable of winning games.

Last night was more than just an off-shooting night or a Harden not getting calls night. They were bad in every facet of the game.

I just watched the first quarter again... the Rockets defense wasn't great, but the Nuggets were hitting some tough shots.

On offense, the Rockets missed a lot of open shots and they didn't get some fouls that they probably should have and would have gotten free throws.

Rebounding wasn't great. Some of it had to do with switching every pick and roll which forced some bigs away from the basket which left them out of position to grab a board.

Dwight Howard would have made a huge difference in this game.

In a game where no one is defending I do not understand why KJ Mcdaniels can't eat some Brewer's minutes.

THIS x1000000000000000. Brewer was awful on both sides. Can't believe we had him and Ariza at the "4 and 5" at one point. That's not small ball, that's just stupid.

If you need Dwight Howard to beat a scrubby Nugget team at home, that doesn't bode well my friend.

McHale will figure out sooner rather than later that Lawson needs to be coming off the bench.

I've never seen 15 and 6 look so bad, Jones has got to find a way to play better defense
