JVG's last second shot design was horrible and his substitution pattern was r****ded.

Bonzi Weill scored 8 pts in the 4th QT, he sit with 5 minutes left in the game, I thought JVG just let him get a breather. Turned out it was the end of his day.

    WTF was going on there?

Rafer, you make me sick, if JVG is a fully support or lover, he make me sick too. Rafer made a stupid play after another one until he was kicked out.

this game makes me sick...10 point lead heading into the final minutes of the fourth quarter...which isnt an outstanding lead...what does your main man mcgrady go? he disappears...he leaves the job of finishing it out the stretch to a little above average overweight injury magnet guy...i smell october and november problem infecting our guys again...blow big leads in fourth quarter...i better see rafer wake up from his blind tart logic where he concieves the idea that the tear drop is a high percentage shot to use in a clutch situation...and stop blaming jvg...this garm is like a girl going through pms...one day we love how we're top defensive team in the team and we reinvest our love in jvg then the next day we lose...we brand him unsuitable and unable to run an offensive playbook...we lost tonight cos of a combination of bad luck (jr smith's shooting run), rafer's poor judgement and going complacent in the fourth quarter...i say we bench rafer and bring on 'sulking spanoulis' and show rafer that a starting position is a privilege...not a God given right...

Rafer Alston lost it with his lame ass tear drops and three point jacking.

And get fouls when driving to the rim. I hate that stupid floater of Rafer's. Be a man and take some contact.

That's when the negative vibe hit me. I just new it was gonna go Denver's way after that miss.

TMac in the iso is our usual last second shot design, which is perfectly fine with me. Alston was the only player that moved but unfortunately, he moved his guy along closer to TMac.

TMac's missed layup and Rafer's 2 fouls on 3-pt shots killed us tonight.

So were Knicks fans praising Starks for his "balls to shoot" in his 2 for 18 performance in Game 7 in 94?

Let's just trade for Cuttino since he has the Balls to shoot, never mind that Rafer is is a mid 30's FG% shooter in a league where that's SEVERELY below average.

When you are the absolute worst shooter/scorer on a team as PG, why the hell you do need to be shooting the ball EIGHTEEN times?!!?

Had to bring this over from the other thread just to give an answer. Yes Rafer made some bad decisions and I'm not defending him, but T-mac didn't want the ball. That was obvious in this game. A.I. didn't shy away when it counted. T-mac did and that's why they won the game.

McGrady didn't play well, but he still lead the Rockets in both scoring and assists. Even when Tracy isn't at his best, he still gives the Rockets an opportunity to win. That's more than I can say for several others.

the key to the whole thing is jvg is coaching to get a contract extention. and i think management and him are not on the right track anymore. especially with the vspan interview.

hopefully we see some change soon. rafer is not a good point guard when it comes down to clutch plays and crucial situations. lucas is not a pass first pg.

jvg always has some gay love towards some sucky player every year. last year it was bowen. now it's rafer.

I understand what hes saying the only asset he brought to the game tonight was playing hard because at the end of the game nobody else was playing hard that was pathetic..out of all the loses this is the worst one because of the lack to pick up the energy when you needed it at your home court

Rafer may be inconsistent, but he remains the only reasonable option at point guard, barring the unforseen trade.

I have a feeling JVG and Rafer are developing some sort of relationship... no matter how bad rafer plays, JVG plays him.

    9-25 = 36%

    5-18 = 27%

    Equally sad.

Bonzi got 12 points 1 block 1 steal 4 boards on 5-9 shooting in 17 minutes. suffice to say, he should have been payed alot more. gundy and hes personal agendas are getting annoying.
