The Rockets did not manage the clock. If you're up late you milk the clock and the take a shot going to the basket. The Rockets were taking quick jump shots with the lead late.

Coach did not even call a time out when T-mac dribbled out the clock and then threw up a brick with 5 secs in the game.

I started having a bad feeling about this game five minutes to go in regulation when we were up by six or so. The Nuggets just seemed more into this game, while we looked lethargic.
Too bad because this is a team we should've beaten, IMO. Iverson put up a load of points as usual, but it seemed at the expense of the fluidity of Denver's overall offense. For long stretches of the game, their offense outside of Iverson looked pretty stagnant. We just didn't take advantage of it.

you know i am about tired of TMAC acting like he has the whole team collapsing on him and then get off the ground and give a pass to someone, when there is only one defender on him

The Nuggets bench out scored us and that is where the Rockets lost the game.

So were Knicks fans praising Starks for his "balls to shoot" in his 2 for 18 performance in Game 7 in 94?

Let's just trade for Cuttino since he has the Balls to shoot, never mind that Rafer is is a mid 30's FG% shooter in a league where that's SEVERELY below average.

When you are the absolute worst shooter/scorer on a team as PG, why the hell you do need to be shooting the ball EIGHTEEN times?!!?

TMAC dribbling the shot clock out at the end of the 4th quarter, brought back some STEVE FRANCIS MEMORIES

    Reason why we lost:

    1) JVG putting in Head + Alston at the same time=defensive disaster. Just too slow and too small of a backcourt.

    2) Alston did not have a good shooting night as usual.

    3) JVG not putting in Bonzi.

    4) Tmac seemed like his back was bothering him. Not surprised, there are going to be good and bad days like this for the rest of his career.

    5) Nuggets lucky 3 pter barrage

this game makes me sick...10 point lead heading into the final minutes of the fourth quarter...which isnt an outstanding lead...what does your main man mcgrady go? he disappears...he leaves the job of finishing it out the stretch to a little above average overweight injury magnet guy...i smell october and november problem infecting our guys again...blow big leads in fourth quarter...i better see rafer wake up from his blind tart logic where he concieves the idea that the tear drop is a high percentage shot to use in a clutch situation...and stop blaming jvg...this garm is like a girl going through pms...one day we love how we're top defensive team in the team and we reinvest our love in jvg then the next day we lose...we brand him unsuitable and unable to run an offensive playbook...we lost tonight cos of a combination of bad luck (jr smith's shooting run), rafer's poor judgement and going complacent in the fourth quarter...i say we bench rafer and bring on 'sulking spanoulis' and show rafer that a starting position is a privilege...not a God given right...

    Critical plays

Rafer foul on 3pt shot by AI
    Tmac with missed layup
Rafer not getting on the floor to get the almost steal before AI hits banked 3
Rafer taking stupid shots at the end of the game.
Rafer not playing D on Blake's 4 point play before fouling out.
Van Gundy pulling out Bonzi in the 4th even though he was making plays

Just want you know that fans have the right to get mad after an UGLY lose. I cheered all the time for all the wins and loses, but this one is freaking pathatic. You can close your eyes and live in denial but do not try to be a smartass to lable all the mad fans here YOF.

They have a coach that will play his bench. Our bench is not allowed on the court except in practice. JVG will stay with his main guys no matter what. Rafer could break his leg and he'd still be on the floor a head of V-span, Lucas etc.....
