Not the best defense half this season....but thankfully they are still in it. Hopefully they can avoid a loss tonight.
hill is strong. he seems like he is holding his ground well against Brook Lopez who's like 270-285, from backing him down.
If I want gambles I go to Vegas. If I want winners I want guys who will play the numbers and the %. Horriza is like a lucky guy at a table who just keeps gambling. Sometimes he wins big but most of the times he comes out with empty pockets. I would rather seen Battier out there, doing the smart plays at all times, rarely making a bad move, being an excellent defender and a 3point threat at all times with our slashing 1/2 players. Even better next year with Yao making it even easier to hit the 3.
His jumper is bleh, but I remember that Landry's jumper was nothing special when we first drafted him. That's something that can be improved. < Good. >
Rondo, Lowry, Artest gambles. I guess they are all horrible defenders. But whatever. Hill tries and switches every time on every pick n roll, I wish he would stop doing this eventually.
Shane's getting Trade soon so say your goodbyes. You say you want Winners? Trevor was Clutch on a Championship team. Get over your hate and get used to seeing Trevor.
i AGREE the rockets Suck if they lose this game to the nets! comeon at least play better defense, even I (I am 6'8) can play better defense than martin or ariza
I love Battier, but to act call Ariza "Horriza", and act as if Battier is just light years better is getting a bit out of hand. Ariza does have a bit to work on when it comes to being in the right spot rotation wise, but that'll come with time. Just another person that hounds on Ariza when he struggles, but is no where to be found on a better night. How about encouraging the player, instead of calling him "Horriza."
His jumper is fine. Good form and he's hit in games before. I think it was just nerves tonight... he's finally getting big minutes and he doesn't want to blow it. Understandable. Rookies are inconsistent and all that.
Trying to block a shot is a gamble, doing anything but a dunk is a gamble, even dunking is a gamble on your knees.
