Chill... if you don't think you can take it anymore, think about JVG another point, once Yao gains enough respect from the ref, he will either make his shot, or shoot for two. it's hard to see Yao miss a shot without being fouled
The blame falls on JVG. He assembled this horrid show. Yao is gonna break down soon. He is logging in heavy minutes and with no one making any shots, he is getting butchered inside. JVG will relax only when he has run Tmac and Yao to the ground. Perhaps then Les Alexander will get a hint.
Yao had a lapse in his defense under the basket, allowing Murray grab a rebound and score 2. Damn, everything is failing.
well it IS a low % shot in any book.. much lower than a layup/dunk or even a midrange shot.. plus would you rather have teams blow by us penetrating forcing yao to come help D getting him in foul trouble? JVG does things for a reason
Not when you completely pack the paint and give daylight to shoot the 3. NBA players are too good to not make most of those. BTW. teams are also doing the second thing and forcing Yao to help. So basically..nothing is working! Numbers dont lie.
7:01 HOU - Shooting foul on R. Alston 7:01 NJ - J. Kidd makes shot. Assist: V. Carter 7:20 HOU - Traveling on R. Alston this is the game
yes it's a low % shot but when an entire team gets hot, you got to slow em down, not let them continue their hot streak. it becomes a high % shot for a team that is hot. what jvg does or doesnt do rather is just plain stupid.
Anyone else notice that Rafer often makes poor decisions and has most of his turnovers late in the game or when the game is tight? I just sont think he is mentally tough to be a starting PG for a team if you are desginng it to play for championship in couple of seasons. He is a good backup, IMO.
yeah and stats show 3pt % is usually lower than FG%.. and like i said, we gotta protect yao.. everybody on this board knows our guards can not keep up with most guards when they play them too close... u talk as if they leave em WIDE open, they're still only a half step behind running full speed with their hands up.. thats all you can really do
watching this game is like watching a car wreck...I know I should look away but some sick fascination (call it being a fan maybe) keeps me looking...
Yes, he keeps an eye on the cheerleading squad to make sure they don't date players from opposing teams.
