I watched the entire game. Yes they were pretty bad offensively and defensively in the first few quarters but they found a way to beat the other team. So I don't agree that the didn't 'deserve' the win.
man...I'm not going to lie, I thought we were going to lose this game and almost turned it off when we went down 8 with what...2.5-3min left? I stuck with it, and then EVERY NBA League Pass app failed for the last 2min or so. XBOX360, my tablet, my phone, ARGH it was so frustrating to watch the comeback! Nothing like waiting for the play-by-play to update when its a constant 1-2-3pt game, lol. The thing is I'm SO happy about this win! I mean, sure I love every W, and no I'm not necessarily happy about the "game" (although from an unbiased standpoint I'm sure it was pretty entertaining besides the horrid 3pt shooting on both ends), but the fact that we stayed in it and didn't give in once the Nets made their last stand? GOOD stuff, and especially after the LAC win, ugh its so nice to not negate that win with a sad loss to Brooklyn. I mean, sure we always have the "without Dwight" crap to fall back on, but I hate that. This was a good win, very happy to 40! We're a bunch of spoiled fans, we have an oddly inconsistent team and our 2nd Star out for basically half the season now, and yet we have 40 wins with the 4th best record in the league. I was so frustrated for most of this game, but pretty dam happy now!
I don't really understand the logic. Obviously the other team was worse in those regards. Its not like the Rockets played dirty. It isn't like we threw a full court shot to win. The Nets had a good run but the Rockets had a better one at the end of the game.

Shoutout to Trevor Ariza. Finally finding his shot again and making some clutch baskets. Good to see.
Getting TJones back healthy is huge. Hopefully Dwight can come back productive and the team can start hitting its stride. Crazy, I know the Rockets have a great record, but I dont really get that overwhelming feeling that they have played their best basketball.
