I had to be out, so I taped the game and watched it when I came home. What's the matter with Yao? Was the great stretch of play a tease before he hit the wall with a thud? I haven't looked, but can anyone say off hand when he "thudded" last year? He looks to be in such better shape that I really believed he might not do it this year, or if he did, that he'd recover and get it going again relatively quickly. I still hope that's the case, if he's run out of gas, and it very well may be. We'll have to wait see. But right now, it doesn't look good.

Still, we would have won with several fewer turnovers and a few more made from the charity stripe. What a depressing win. I may just burn this tape in the back yard. Have a ceremony or sumptin'... maybe get the mojo off tha chumps. Damnation, I'm bummed.

    Another breakdown in 2nd Half?! (31 points with FG% 39% )

They forgot defense, forgot pass, forgot making easy shot. They forgot themselves... and everything leading to win!

What's tactics JVG carry out ???

Ah! "inside-out"?! Yeah,I see it. It is NOT in Rox play but from Nets. The Nets gave us "an eye for an eye,and a tooth for a tooth" box heavily. They beat us with our "inside-out". Ahhhh...so sarcastic!

I hardly saw so-called "inside-out" a tiny bit in Rox play. What I saw was just JVG's confusing rotation, stupid decisions and 5 stoned players on the court.

It just goes to show that Steve Francis was not washed out but just needed to give of himself to the Game.I was glad to see Steve Francis playing more towards what we expect of him.

Steve's scoring was welcome but we didn't play as a unit at all.
Defense has really gone down over the last 3 games. Poor rebounding,no rotations, poor execution and a sense of mental and physical paralysis is evident. The players fail to adapt to the situation on the court. The lack of urgency and will to fight back is also very disturbing.
I'm afraid that unless we play better and with some consistency as a team we won't make it to the playoffs.

He must be gearing up for the playboy party.

Playboy party spares nothing for wearing little

"Rockets assistant coach Patrick Ewing, towering above the hot crowd, had little to say. "It's my day off today," Ewing said."

Does anyone else get the feeling Patrick Ewing just doesn't take his job seriously at all?

He's partying till 3am before games. Partying at the Playboy mansion during the season. He's looking for head coaching jobs elsewere while still being an assistant coach for this team.
