Trade anyone who can't pass or shoot from 10 feet. After watching the Kings and Mavs put up entertaining games for their fans, is it any wonder where the NBA is trying to force teams to go as far as roster moves?

When they could give it up so easily to Heat, I knew some guys in this team have a long way to grow up, including guys in coach team (hi, that's a costly "gift" u gave out). This team had so much talents but yet to find a way to keep a simply "reasonable" performance. That's why I said something is shameful and at the cost of Rockets' growing... Method is much, skill is much, but inspiration and unyielding team spirit is even more.

I wasn't able to watch the game - but kept track of the score for the last half.

This loss disappoints me most because of the attention the game got. Sell-out crowd. Out-of-towners and celebrities there watching. Rockets tank. Sheesh.

I think the Rockets are cockroaches. Put a spotlight on 'em and they scatter away.

I propose that in the future, all Rocket draft choices and players to be acquired by trade, be tested for testosterone levels to insure that in fact, they do have testicles.

    Thank you.

Yao Ming just needs to forget the refs, stop letting the Jason Collins and the Brian Grants push him around. He neds to throw a few elbows.

The guards need to do a much, much better job of getting him the ball early. Inside-out, it's so simple. Throw it into him once, let him make an offensive move or he can dish out it back out, and they can let him get deeper position. Maybe this is something Steve and co. can learn from Mark Jackson.

The coach won't help Yao develop an aggressive demeanor by benching him for elongated periods of time.

Throw it down big man, throw it down!

Yao never had position. You can't throw him the ball when he's not open. He unsuccessfully tried on numerous occasions to gain position but failed.

We've seen a few really bad coached games by JVG in a row. Hopefully he'll find a way to snatch out of his funk like Steve did today.

Yao failed to show up once again. His inconsistency has been the biggest story about the Rockets this year.

I don't know.........The guards seem to do okay getting Jackson, Cato or Taylor the ball in the low post.

Well the Rockets should get a W against the Sun but the Bucks are dangerous.

Let me ask this again for discussion:

Is it not the job of the Coach to do whatever it takes to motivate a team? Maybe you just couldn't see it on TV but Van Gundy should have been going ballistic in the third. If he just accepted that level of play he is as gutless as the team looked. Go in to a full court press, take a technical, bench all the starters, wrap yourself around K-mart's leg; something. Anything.

Thought the game was going to be at 7:30 tonight. Glad I missed it judging from the score. What a dissapointing homestand. They embarrassed themselves under a big spotlight with celebrities in the mix for once in Houston, and an actual sellout crowd again.

Even females have measurable testosterone levels, and that's a medical fact.

Rockets's PF can not shoot or rebond.Nets can concentrate on defending Yao's offence. It's time for Rockets to change the PF.

    Yep.

It's important to have a 5 prong attack. Now, that doesn't mean that all the players are dominant. But rather, all the players are at least reasonably competent in ALL skills.

Think of it as a minimum entrance exam for college. If you don't know how to do basic arithmetic, you don't get in. You don't have to be a master of math, just reasonably competent.

    Cato:

    Dunking (from alley-oops): A+
    Dunking (after getting rebounds): C+
    Rebounding: C
    Defense: B
    Free-throws: C-
    Shooting: D
Post Moves: F- (never saw sooo many missed lay-ups from a 7ft center)

Pisssstttt! Hey, I got a secret to tell you....this is NOT a "starting player."

SF played great in the first half. He deserved praise. However, he did not creat too many easy shots for his teammates in the second half. An Allan Ivan at PG might get many points but not necessarily many wins.
