We're doing fine, I see a different Rockets team than the one playing the Nuggets. Parsons missing a layup on the fast break was too bad, but I rather see Lin bringing the ball up
I know Asik is getting open looks but his hands are 50-50 on catching it, I really want to see Lin be aggresive attacking the rim.
It's the fact that the pass to Asik in those situations was the right decision, obviously. What are going to do when two giants jump at you? Try a miracle tear drop over the top? Or a simple pass to your man standing underneath the basket.
PPat looking nice tonight. Hustling for rebounds and running for outlet passes. I *hope* McHale is working with Asik on catching drills. It's bad when the commentators are recommending they pass at his face. Both teams looking a bit flat. It's amazing it's basically tied with both teams shooting poorly.
They have to keep passing to him so he will get better... You don't get good at something unless you try.
Seems like everyone knows that you cant thread passes to Asik in traffic. He has bad hands and it is a turnover waiting to happen. Well, everyone, except Lin, who stubbornly keeps trying the same play time after time, game after game. Know your teammates! If he is wide open, then yeah sure, but why keep trying the bounce pass when Asik has players around him?!
Lin resisting the urge to over-commit on help D, denying Williams the ball. That's paying off so far.
Patrick Patterson gobbling up all these rebounds is making me angry. So he could have been doing this earlier!? He is really rebounding well; against good rebounders too! screw you Patrick Patterson!
