Few things I'm not too happy with:

    - some of the boneheaded moves Yao was making early on ... Deke came in and had he not, this might have been a blowout. When Yao came back he did much better.
    - that 4-point turnaround of Sura's GIMME layup cacked (he heard footsteps), then Stackhouse backed in his man on the other end for a fade.
    - the defense has been decent at times, but when the Rockets closed there, most of it was because of wide open misses or blown alleyoops by the Mavs.
    - the CALLS. Really surprised by some of them ... to think Cuban has the balls to say he's getting the raw deal.

We are way outshooting them in the first half percentage-wise... it's been the three-pointers and a few extra FTs for Dallas that has been the difference.

Yao has got to get more shots in the second half and it's up to him and him alone to make that happen.

I agree he is this game, I hope he keeps it up. All I wish for is that he stays out of foul-trouble. The rest will fall in place sooner or later

Deke caught teams by surprise and most of the time he played against other team's 2nd units. That's not happening in playoffs.

Sura seemed like he was either looking to draw the foul or just wanted Stack on his back. If it was the first (looking for 3 instead of 2), I'd be even more upset.

I'm unhappy with the team rotating off Finley. He's generally a really good shooter if he's on, which he proved very early in the game. Why continue to rotate off him? Especially when he's the next one in ball rotation? Wesley was caught on the man AFTEr Finley (and then tried to fly at MF..too late)

    Agreed on Yao.

The calls...I think they've been mostly even both ways. Not all good, but at least close to even

Good point. Moreover, I think that since our team really has traditional centers, they are out of sync when teams cheat like the Mavs and go small like that.

For some reason I hate teams that go small, they are violating the my sacred rule of playing every player in his "natural" position. But welcome to the new NBA, where they are trying to all-together do away with the traditional center if they could. Too bad Yao still has a while to go in this league.:D

Charles thinks the reason Yao is a on and off player is because he lacks the aggressive attitude- which is only partly true. Even when he tries to turn it up, the refs still have too much say in whether Yao delivers or not.

I do have to admit that those two fouls on Yao (in this game) were legit.

Just called my Dad who's at the game. Put it his way he couldn't hear a thing I was saying, even when I was shouting down my phone. And this was during half-time and not even during play. He had to text me instead.

Pity he can't text and I only got 2 letters but on the plus side it sounds loud and proud, the way it should be!

    GO ROCKETS!!!!

Dude, are you even watching the game?

They're not ignoring Yao or anything like that.

The fans are definitely louder than the last game.

The real test will be for them to sacrifice leaving a couple of minutes earlier so they can cheer on the team. I know their time is precious and all, but if it is not too much to ask;)

That is the difference in the game right there. Dallas players can shoot lights out from the perimeter, they are all 20+ scorers if they were on a team by themselves.

Us? Let's see: Bowen, Padgett, Sura...ummm
