This team would have had a pretty fair chance to beat the Spurs and even the Warriors with a starting qualiber pg. As it is, our 37 year old pgs will not be able to keep with the Parkers, Mills and Curries of the Western Conference.

Prior to this series, I called it for Rockets in 5, but this is pretty much it. I wish I could be more optimistic in these upcoming playoff rounds, but I just do not see it. I hope to Gawd that I am proven wrong.

Great to see Harden bouncing back quickly after a weak 3 point shooting performance in Game 4, and leading us to a win in a big game.

This separates a potential future champion from the rest.

Living in the past? Have you seen our company?

Live streams, fan participation in meetings, but we still have a brand to manage, that was the point.

was it TNT or Toyota Center playing return of the Mack after Harden's 3? Absolutely amazing and perfect timing.

Great win Ladies and Gents. Howard was a monster out there, Harden showed why he's a top candidate for the MVP award, J. Smith was dynamic in the 1st half and T. Jones was very huge in the 4th qtr. We played shut down D in the 4th only allowing 19 points, pretty impressive.

Yeah boy on to the next one, bring on the Spurs or Clippers.

    Great Job Houston Rockets

Serious question...how was that not a foul on Howard? Ellis may have been acting a little but any time Howard stretches that arm out like he is shoving a player...that is usually called. It looked like a shove.

I have to say we had some calls go our way in this game. The Harden plow into Ellis is another example...even if he got rid of the ball before the plow. Again, Ellis could have been partially flopping.

Maybe it was just refs letting em play but Rockets seemed to be on the favorable end. If those were both Ellis flops, then shouldn't about $10k in fines be coming?

This team could go very far if Ariza can play at a high level offensively.

This. The 40% from three Washington would be great but if we could get him to around 34-36% would do wonders for our spacing.

It's a good question. And I can't help but look at it with homer eyes, but to me Elis isn't straight up. He leans into Howard and even pushes his arms forward a bit. Then he over-embellishes the contact.

I would understand had they called a foul on Dwight, but I also understand them not calling one on him because of what I described.

Edit:: after looking at the replay again, I think it could have been a foul on Ellis. He definitely extended his arms out into Howard.

So glad to have that first round anchor off of our back! What a great game by the Rockets who did the right things at the right times.

Yea...I can see that now. I guess it was a good no call given that. The ref must have seen it that way.
