All this "Dirk sucks" stuff is so silly. This guy is capable of going for 50 at any time. Remember teams can get hot or they can go cold. The Mavs are fully capable of coming to Houston and getting two, then the whole thing starts over. Hopefully, the Rocket players are not getting caught up in all this media and fan banter and are staying focused. It is going to take a very high level of play to win this series. I like the Rocket's chances, but it is far, far from over.

Yeah, we just can't help but laugh when the Mavs' fans are doing the funny picture.

It is a funny picure. :D I hope Dirk doesn't see it. I expect Dirk to go nuts on Thursday. He will probably run over TMac and will abuse Bowen in some way. I hope he plays out of control and fouls out.

I'm having a real problem waiting for the game. Yesterday I wanted nothing more than to be able to watch another Rockets v. Mavs playoff game. I feel the same today.

I'm so excited about this team, and the games have been so enjoyable that I can hardly bare to wait.

I know it is probably good for the players to get some rest, but it is hard to wait when you want something so badly.

I think this could be a very important game. Crushing the Mavs now, would probably demoralize them. Losing one now, breathes new life into a dying corpse.

you're right.. but the mavs fans are the ones who are trashing dirk.. they've even started talking about trading him..

they'd dont wanna give the rockets an ounce of credit..

at least recognize the great defensive job bowen and tmac are doin on dirk..

I'm starting to get worried now. It's fine for us, the fans, or the media, to get overly excited, predicate a sweep, or whatever; but I'm getting worried when many of our players went to different talk shows, talked about how great we played in game 1 & 2. It doesn't matter if they didn't sound cocky, but the action itself is a sign of over confident.

I agree. Houston went down 2-0 and came back. Rockets should not count-out Dallas just 'cause they haven't shown up this series, YET. even with poor coaching, the Mavs can still score points when their shooters finally get hot. One game at a time. And never look back.

    This is a must-win----- Being up 3-0 sounds a million times better than being up 2-1 ! ;) ;)

Dirk had his chance to go nuts in Dallas. He got every call any player could hope to get. If he gets those calls in Houston a riot could break out.

Right now-the Rox are getting the media love the Mavs were getting before the series started!

I hope our players learn from the Mavs' mistakes and not get too over confident.

This Yao's second playoff experience, and of course the first one was against Shaq. After Monday's game he has to understand that no one Dallas has can guard him.

No excuses, no doubt, no fatigue and even if he has a miserable start he has to believe he can't be stopped. What T-Mac is doing in this series is truly special and Yao can't let it go to waste or expect him to carry the load.

If we're really going to do anything in the playoffs home-court advantage has to start now especially because it's been a problem all year. We know we can win on the road.

I agree that this game is important because if we when this series the next two three are going to be tough. :D

The pressure is on the rockets...at least I hope they feel that it is. This team is too mature to get carried away and think this is a lock. They will constantly be bringing themselves down to earth before this game starts.

So same intensity + home crowd = victory... If MAvs are down early this will be a walk because they will be demoralized (again).

    Rockets - 109
    Mavs - 99

[Game 3] Most Important Game of the Year!

The more i look at it to win Game one was a nice start. To win Game 2 was spectacular.

But to win Game 3 is the most important game of the year in my opinion. Not only will it put us in a position to put our foot on Dallas' throat but it will give us that edge we need for the rest of the playoffs.

This game is going to really tell the mentality of our Rocket team. If they come out with the same intensity and start attacking like they have been it will show the rest of the league that we are for real that we don't let up and we continue to attack you until your finally done and buried.

I will not accept anything less than the 110% that our team has shown these past 2 games. We haven't been a good home team all season but this is the playoffs.

T-mac needs this game and series to put everyones stupid quotes and misleading comments to their respected place THE GRAVE. We have definently shown that we have the heart of a champion in the last 2 games in Dallas. Now it's time to prove it some more and show that just we are ahead we are not going to back down and give you a free game.

I honestly think game 3 will show us where our team will be going. If we give our full effort and happen to lose do to some miracle performance by Dallas i won't mind as much. If the team comes out complacent and loligags around i will be terribly pissed.

The good thing is that we came into this series with a bit of pressure on us becuase we were the underdog and everyone was talking about how the Mavericks would role through us....now the Mavericks have their backs against the wall and they are going to play like they are playing for their lives in Game 3.

We need to take that hunger we took in the first 2 games and never let up....get up early and never look back. Don't give them a chance to think they are in the game.

    Rockets 105
Dallas - who cares as long as they lose.
