The offensive woes started in Q4 when players became tenative. Wesley and Barry passed up wide open 3s and we got nothing out of it. Guys need to take the open shot instead of looking to pass. What more do you want? a funnel to the basket???????????

    Chokecity!!

We had this game exactly where we wanted and we let them come back and steal it. This team just lacks killer instinct.

Now Dallas has gained some confidence and this is a series again.

    Arrrrrgggggghhhhhhh!!!

I really can't believe they let that lead slip away in their own house. They could have ended this series tonight. I'm disappointed but still confident the Rockets will win the series.

Good job team. We played hard. Refs made it a bit difficult for us but we still had every opportunity to win. We've been on a torrid streak. It had to end sometime though. Here's to starting a new one.

    GO ROCKETS!!

    I STILL BELIEVE!

There are two reasons why we lost.

    1. Rockets fans were too cocky. Going over to another message board to taunt, and act cocky when we hadn't won anything gave our team some bad Karma. We need to keep our focus on the Rockets and worry about winning and play our game. A win in this series will do all the talking and shoot down any misplaced dilusions Dallas fans have.

    2. TNT jinxed us by making viewers miss 1 1/2 quarters of the game.

True we didn't execute as well as we should have down the stretch, but that could well have been the result of reasons 1 & 2

Yah I do, and I can tell you we are a "spoiled" basketball town. I think if this was the Astros or the Texans in the playoffs like this we would have a ROCKING crowd. May be Houstonians just know that the Rockets are winners of those two championship banners, and they would be much more "involved" and "intrigued" if it is the Texans or the Astros winning in the playoffs. I always used to hear that Houston is a "football" town. I guess now I know what they meant.

I have no doubt the "fabolous" Toyota Center is a big reason for this as well, with its set up and all. But you know what? Too bad, we ain't the only arena in the league with club-level seats and and luxury suites. Pretty much all the new arenas are like that. I don't think the AAC in Dallas is worse than the TC, Dallas fans are just more involved and interested.

Look at our home record, there is a reason why even our team doesn't want to play here, they just feed off the hostile road crowd a lot better than at home. They seem to play more focused that way.

Anyways, I really don't want to babble into this subject of "fans" and "arenas" and all that crap, that is just my opinion whether you agree or not.

Not the same team tonight that we have been watching this series. Lots of poor play at the end of the game. I especially did not like the sloppy layup that Sura attempted at the very end. That was a super-low percentage play.

Referees are not the source of evil. It is DAVID STERN!!!
Time for him to resign. He's been the dictator for too long.

there is no WAY we lose game 4. tmac won't have 2 sub-par games in a row. yao won't get in foul trouble that early again....everyone will be happy again soon. ;)

They also figured out how to defend the P&R between Yao and TMac.

Maybe the chronicle should post CHOKE CITY as their headlines. That should get the team riled up :)

    Be humble, be hungry.

Don't waste any more time on sports radio. Focus on the next game, and get it.

    Go Rockets!!!

Did TNT filter out crowd noise, or does the entire lower bowl need to be dragged out and shot? This was probably the quietest playoff game I've seen this year.

    Pathetic.

The key to this game was a big no continuation call by the refs.

Score was 88-82 rockets and yao got an and 1, but the ref's called it on the floor. If the call stayed and yao hits that free-throw, we would be up 3-0. Up 91-82 is huge compared to 88-82. Instead of being up 9, we go on a long drought where we couldn't hit the ocean. We didn't get 91 until Sura hits a 3 but by that time, the score was 97-88 with maybe 2 minutes left.

We gotta come out on saturday and establish a better start (like game 1). The mavs have a lot of confidence now and in all honesty, noone is in the driver's seat.

I still like our chances but saturday is huge. We win saturday, the series is over in 5. We lose on saturday, this series is gonna go 7.

To me, it seemed like whenever ryan Bowen went out of the game, there was no evergy and we struggled. Then , as soon as he re-enters the game, we start making shots. did anyone else notice this?
