KVH showed what potential damage he could do. Dirk got his shooting touch back after the 2nd half. No real home advantage. Mavs lights out 3pt shooting. Rox had no answer for Dampier until Avery took him out. Game 3 will be against the odds and a character building experience. Can the Rox win? I can't say but will hope!

The toyota center is going to be quiet and boring and Dirk is finally going to go off on us to the tune of 35 and 10. Dampier is going to play very physically with yao after last night.

Game 2 wouldn't had been close had Wesley made more than 10 percent of his shots but where would be the fun in that.

weeeee... first post and got my $$$ worth.

Toyota center crowd helps Rockets overwhelm Mavs.

    Rockets - 124
    Mavericks - 108

I'm something like # 48 on this thread! That means we win!!

McGrady has been haning with Sura and turning into a junkyard dawg! And Yao is next!

Yao the next time that German beyach hammers you pull a Boki on Malone on him when you go back down the court. Level his cheesy little @$$. Make Boki proud of you.

And Bobby will respect you in the morning!!!

a must win for the rockets cannot allow the mavs to get back into the series down only 2-1. tracy will play huge as usual and yao will have a mid 20 pt game. the man that must show up thursday is david wesley he had a lot of good looks in game 2 and missed all but one.

    i am going rockets 104 mavs 99

Game 2 was huge. Dallas brought their best stuff to the game, 20 thousands fans behind them, and they still came short. From now on, only us can beat ourselves. Keep the intensity, the confidence should be sky high right now. I like our odds in game 3.

The most important thing tomorrow will be to established Yao down low in the very beginning. Once Yao gets it going like last game, it's all over for the Mavs because we all know TMAC can get his shot any time he wants.

Bring that pick and roll tomorrow, TMAC and Yao. There ain't nobody in the world can stop that.

It's such a luxury to have guys like Jordan and TMAC, who has the ability to score any time they want while have the ability to elevate the plays of all teammates.

Rockets win big in 4th qtr. explosion by Tmac...Tmac another big game and Wesley bounces out of his slump. That was the Mavs best they hit every 3 they threw up had 3 misses untl 5 min. left in the game from the 3 pt. line that was an amazing clip. The crowd will be loud on thurs. as the fans should be excited we have a playoff series lead. 103-90

So the Rockets now must win 2 of the next 5 games. And as many as 3 of those games would be in Houston!!! The Mavs will try their hardest to avoid having Houston take a 3-0 advantage in this series. The Rockets know this and must be on their "A" game. Funny as it may sound to some out there, but Game 3 is a must win!! This will show how serious the Rockets are, and if they really are title contenders.

    Go Rockets !!!!!!!!!!:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Several of you have brought up Wesleys' shooting, which has been awful. I don't think he hit a shot last night. Since joining the Rockets his shooting has been very inconsistent. I remember when he was a good outside shooter. I wonder what is going on with him? The Rockets need him to step up.

High screen pick & roll between Yao and Tmac, I just dont see how Dallas can defend that. They tried puting Damp on the trap, let Yao open, didnt work. They tried dobule team Tracy and not let Yao open, Tmac finds open on the preimeter. They tried semi trap and play loose loose like a zone, tmac take it to rack using all those space. Man AJ is supposed to be a defensive minded coach. :D

I like how we opened up game 2. No jump shots in the 1st quarter, all the way to the rack. I was telling myself when mavs make those range shots, if they can beat us that way, they beat us. Game 3, same plan, we will aight.
