sometimes i worry about JVG, this team is going to shorten his lifespan by 10 years. I can just imagine him having a stroke or heat attack on the court.

Nejera just showed the league how to effectively guard Yao Ming:(

Anyway, best things of the game:

    1) Power dancers. Oh, my God!:D
    2) JJ and Yao Ming!
    3) The hustle of everyone on the team!
    4) Yes, we had 30 TOs. So? It's not like we missed 30 FAs, Dallas also had 17, therefore it's like 13 missed opportunies instead of 30. I know it's still bad, but we won!

I am pleased that none of the Rox players got any unnecessary technical. In a close game like this, one or two Ts may decide the outcome of the whole game.

Great win. Most important the rockets' team start to believe. They believe they can beat any team in league.

Nah. What Najera did is hardly new, many other teams have done it, sometimes successfully. And half the time in the 2nd half, the Mavericks were double teaming him before he even had the ball (on a couple of possessions, even a triple team). What Najera did is effective after Yao is already tired in limited situations. Some games it doesn't work because of a combination of better sealing off by Yao, better entry passing, and more fouls being called. The Mavericks mixed up the D very well on Yao in the 2nd half. But don't give too much credit to Najera alone.

Also, the officials were calling a very loose game on the low block tonight. It wasn't biased, it just didn't work out well for us, since our post game's more important to us. If they'd been calling the game remotely strictly, Najera would have fouled out pretty quickly.

hey it was only 28 turnovers, according to the box score. meanwhile, Dirk had 9 steals of his own. alot of bad passes by the rockets but a few more gutsier plays in the end.

the entire pace of the game, from beginning to end, reminded me of the game against the wolves.

jj hitting big threes like mobley, yao exploding, and the Spoonman coming together with clutch free throws at the end, he had a double double with ten and ten.

"Spoonman, come together with your plan, SAVE ME...."

I liked near the end, when Nowitzki hit that open 3 pointer, you could see Van Gundy clearly mouth the words "time the f*** out"- and they showed it in slow motion again as they went to commercial.

    hilarious.

if you look at the last line that sums everything up it says 30 turnovers, so that means that two turnovers that were not acreddited to a certain person..

The best Rockets game I saw so far, even better than the win against Minnesota and lakers 2 wins.

Everyone play well today. Especially Francis and Jackson. Just a typical day for Yao. Hopefully we will get some momentem and go 10 straight wins.

Good win. I can see the heart of this team now! Especially when terrible foul calls were giving in the 4th. They didn't freak out, just kept playing. Let's hope they keep this up.

We BEAT DALLAS!!! WE BEAT DALLAS!!! Okay, so we defied all odds and beat two of the top teams in the West. Remember how nobody thought we had a shot against Minnesota and Dallas?!?

However, does this mean we're a better team now? No. Just look at all the sloppy plays and record high turnovers we've had in the third. Yet, it's the Rox unbending will that lead us to the awsome victory at the end.

One notable problem I have to point out. Najera did a great job fronting Yao. He literally took Yao's game away in the second half. This is, however, not entirely Yao's fault. Najera was play extremely rough with him (pulling and pushing) and at times, there could've been a few fouls called. But on the other end, Rox passers should make better passes. Many people have pointed out that Rox is not a great passing team. We need to learn how to pass more accurate (easier said than done), faster, and smarter passes. If we can learn how to do that, then we are unstoppable.
