Mavs are playing their 4th game in 5 nights and are without Howard and Harris. The Rockets will likely win this one.

I hope JVG can play Chuck Hayes more. He's our poor man's Dennis Rodman right now.

Yao 44 points 15-25 from the floor 14-17 from the stripe.

The rest of the Rockets 10-55 from the floor highlighted by Bogans's 1-10 on layups.

    Rockets 74 - Maverick 92.

And Yao will be accused on lacking of heart and skills to carry the team to a W against the best team in the league.

Damp has played Z ok. Yao was similar to Z, at least before this season. I'm curious to see how he does against Damp.

If Yao can power down on them, we actually have a chance in this game.

    Key to the win is........

    Rebounding!!!!!!!!!!!

Yao clearly outplayed Damp in last year's playoff, AND Yao is even better now than then. :)

Outplay isn't enough, with the roster we have.

He needs to totally destoy him, blow him out of water - for us to win.

Will this game be nationally telivised or was it cancelled by the NBA?

Dallas' bench is much better than our starting lineup, BUT, Ming is unconscious and our supporting cast is due a good shooting night, it could happen. Just compensation to the Rocket's fans for a miserable season. I won't be able to talk for a week.

It was kind of depressing to watch the Mavs came back from 19-point deficit to beat the Cavs last night (Lebron was great and amazing to watch, but his team is just like the 1-man-show Rockets). The Rockets as of now have match-up problems at more than one position. Perhaps one of the few advantages is we have an extra night off. I won't have much rejoice if Yao kicks the shiiit out of the 2nd-best-center-in-NBA but the Rockets lose the damn game tonight.

the best thing about a win tonight would not be that the rox are closer to the playoffs but that the mavs are that much more entrenched in being in 4th place in the playoffs instead of first.

as a mavs fan, the rockets have a pretty good chance of winning tonight. dirk, terry, and marquis daniels have all played 3 consecutive games of over 40 minutes per game.

the mavs are missing 4 of their top 10 players. i think the rockets win this one. in fact, i'd be surprised if the mavs have any energy tonight.

mavs + fan on rockets board? You must be clearly lost, or a little out of it to admit that in game chat :p . Just messing with you. Good to have you here.

Rox try hard, but lose in the 4th. 103-90.

How do you feel about Dirl's constant flopping and faking being fouled???? I can't stand it, not even tolerable for a rocket, just no class. Remind me of Jazz in the old days.

Sorry to rip your star player, but it is the truth.

Frankly I'd Dirk's flop over Jason Terry's grin (often with his tongue sticking out) after he made a play or hit a shot. I can't stand that guy.
