    I am so conflicted:

    On one hand, with Wood being out and the young guys playing well, I am floating on a cloud, and I love to see us beating teams with the majority of our young talent showing vast improvement.

    On the other hand, winning too many games down the stretch would be disastrous. We have worked too hard on this tank job all year just to have it taken from us by good play.

    Being a Rockets fan is hard right now.

    On a slightly unrelated note, I am thrilled to see that we guaranteed KJ's contract in 2022/23. I am extremely high on him, and if he continues to improve shooting the three ball the way he has of late, I think he is going to be a really, really good player. KJ is a guy I want around for the long haul.

    Let's take this for what it really, really is... The kid still needs uncle Eric to buy him beer after the games but we would all be flat ass shocked if he scored less than 17 points in an NBA game.

    Expecting greatness is one thing. Hell yes I expect him to be great! There's a limit to greatness at 19. At 20. At 21. At 22. We want a career Rocket HOF champion we gotta give him 17 years. We just want a scoring champ? That's like 3 years. A champion...who knows.

    60 games into a teenage career we already don't believe he scores less than 17. Is that not greatness???

    The lack of context, the unrealistic perspectives that have been expressed ad nauseum about Jalen Green the last few months deserve scorn.
