just got done watchin the highlights. man, t-mac was amazing in the last part of the fourth quarter. that game was ours. gosh i can't wait til the playoffs. just think...t-mac will be playing at an even higher level than what we've seen this year, he always brings it in big games. i can't remember who posted it but awhile back someone posted the all-time playoff scoring leaders and if i remember correctly t-mac was like top 3 with around 28 ppg.

his overall playoff average is 29.8 (w/ 32ppg if u dont count the toronto series)

but not just his points, his rebounding, assists, steals, blocks ALL GO UP.

JVG admitted tmac has another level. but b/c he had never had a good team, u don't know if he has ANOTHER level that what he has shown.

i'm excited. the tmac that plays now doesn't go all out every minute. the playoff tmac does => the best player in the NBA.

the tmac that plays now can easily be a top 5 player, but we all can see stretches where he doesn't go all out to save energy. but the playoff tmac is on another level (or maybe 2) level. that's why i'm not worried w/ how tmac is playing now. u think tmac's playin good since yao went out, it ain't even NUTHIN.

i wish we can play dallas again. tmac OWNS dirk it seems like. dirk can't score on him consistently. we should let tmac guard dirk for 3 quarters at least. no need to double.

Can Big Jake hang with Nowitzki for 10-12 mpg? Did he guard him at all in the Mavs-grizz series? He might be a younger faster body (than Deke) to throw at Dirk for a few minutes to give our other guys a blow on the bench, he perhaps can contribute a few hard fouls, disrupt Dirk's game, frustrate him, and if Jake has to go back to the bench - we're still good to go.

    Just a thought.

    question:
Hey did anyone watch the videos closely - the Devin Harris hard picks - were they clean and was he flopping at all or did we actually throw some hard picks on the Mavs for once?

I know the league is nothing like the old Pistons days when Isiah was there with his pals as far as hurting people, but it seems like we are still softer and getting the short end of the beatings the vast majority of the time. I can only assume Deke is now under a decree from Stern and Van Gundy to not throw elbows anymore - ever since he crowned Lord LeBron.

We really need some help at guard, especially point guard. JVG says we have enough, but we don't. After two years, talent is still the issue. Of course, our changes increase with the return of Yao.
