Nobody wants to fire JVG. He just needs to learn to match up with Avery. I mean Avery keeps changing things around. I can't stand having Cuban and those Mavs fans come to our building and get away with a win. This one hurts. Don't forget about the missed fts but Dallas also missed a lot of fts.

    Three issues.

1.) There's nothing more automatic in this world than an unguarded Jason Terry off the dribble going around a pick to the right. This should be drilled into every player's head repeatedly before each game against Dallas. I'd rather give up any shot on the floor but that, and to not come out around the pick and get a hand in his face is inexcusable.

2.) I'm sick of this team's over-reliance on timeouts. There's a reason you don't call timeout every second something goes wrong - it's so you don't end up with no timeouts when you have 4 seconds left and you desperately need to get it to half court. There's no reason to burn your last timeout in a game you know has a good chance to go to the final second and you know you may need to advance the ball. Stupid.

3.) 5 of 7 free throws missed from McGrady and Battier.

I know Dallas is a great team, but this is a tough loss. No question the Rockets were the better team tonight, and they found ways to beat themselves. Unbelievable.

I think we played well. Considering that Yao Ming was out and Dallas had all their weapons, it is pretty good that we hung in there and had a shot to win.

    Negatives:

    Free-throw shooting
    Use of timeouts by JVG
Offensive execution toward the end of the game

With regard to Luther's shot on the second-to-last possession, it reminded me of Mobley on the last possession in the playoff series against the Lakers which we lost when Pippen and Barkley were still on the team.

The problem though Cannonball is that's only abnormal for one of those players.

Yeah, but they made them in the 4th when they counted. The Rockets on the other hand started 9-10 at the line and then made only 6-13 in the 4th. You wanna be a great team, you gotta close.

Which is why I have been wanting V-Span to be getting some time, as he is the guy that can create when teams double Tmac. It is too late for that now though.

Rafer could, I don't know why he was not driving....although his layups are the worst thing I have ever seen...

This team needs an ATTACK the rim player...and there are 2 of them sitting on the bench....Snyder and V-Span....one of them should be playing.

I have seen enough of that fat ass Wells, he can post up, but all that does is clog the lane......I would rather have Snyder in there....trade Wells....

They make their free throws, team wins by 10. They make the freebies and have Yao down low, they win by 20 easy.

At full strength, this team probably could have won every game against the Mavs this season. Our day will come.

The Rox desperately needed a scorer other than T-Mac at the last seconds. I wish Battier had not passed that ball.

    Wow!

An injury depleted Rockets almost beat a full strength Mavericks team. We are going to make some noise in the playoffs!

I hate the fact that the Mavs own the Rockets. The only thing worst would be Cuban playing in the game and they still beat us. JVG is a major reason why the Rockets lost tonight. His rotation where he plays Alston and Head at the same time has got to stop.

The Rockets better hope the Mavs and Suns find a way to eliminate themselves in the playoffs because even with Yao we can't beat them.

This was a moral victory for the Rockets because now we know for sure that we can defeat the Mavericks with our full Team :p

1- Ban the screamer from attending rockets games.

2- Choke the B**** who was screaming.

3- Emphasize that players need to use their head in crunch time! GET THE BALL TO TMAC, IF YOU ARE OPEN SHOOT THE THING

Need to get more defensive boards. Besides the bad FT, we also gave them alot of 2nd shot opportunities.

I think we should've kept attacking them, especially when Damp was out. Settle for too much dribbing around on the perimeter.

If pentration isn't there, should go back to posting Howard and Bonzi. Generally something good comes out of that.

stupid loss, plz practice ft during the weekend!
    2 reasons of loss:

    1. bad ft
    2. stupid play in the final min, give the fxxking ball to t-mac and let him to finish, so i would not piss off even he did not make the shot!

Rockets are not allowed to show their depth. I believe the Rockets do have a deep bench if were allowed to developed. Once Yao gets back this team should be feared and I hope a backup pg can be had by next Thursday.
