ClutchFans Game Thread: Mavericks @ Rockets 2/15/2007

JVG should get Rox Bench players fired up by saying that the Mavs bench worth 3times as much as our bench. Then Luther,Bonzi,JLIII & Kirk combine for 50 points.
Oh, Jake T add another 3 blocks and gives the rockects another blow-out win against the Mavs.

It's going to be a tough game, a VERY TOUGH game, T-Mac has got to find a way to break away from the Mavs suffocating defense on him. Everyone else on our team needs to step up so he can have some breathing room. We're not gonna win if we start out the same way we did against the Kings, we HAVE to start out strong.

P.S. I don't care about the Mavs/their fans thoughts, because as long as they see Dirk as their big leader/player etc they will never win a championship.

I really want this win and I think it's within grasp. Bonzi is back. Tsakalidas might be able to ease the load on Deke enough that Deke still has legs in the 4th. God, I want this win.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I hate the Mavericks so much that if Al Qaeda had a basketball team and the Mavericks played them, I'd root for Al Qaeda.

It looks like Devean George will miss the game due to a sprained knee.

 

Jake goes for 27pts, 14reb, 11blk, 10ast, 2stls in a 57pt blowout. This starts and unbelievable turn of events. Yao Ming is then traded to the Celtics for Paul Pierce, Telfair, and their #1 pick. We go on to win the title and get the first pick in Greg Oden. Celtics send Yao to Grizz for Gasol and their #1 pick. We trade Jake for Gasol and the #1 pick via the Grizz. We draft Kevin Durant with the 2nd pick and Aaron Gray with our late pick. We send Pierce and Gray to Grizz for Yao after he is forced to demand a trade from Chinese authorities.

you guys ever notice that on the TNT broadcasts the crowd noise is so much quieter than broadcasts on FSN. it seems like they're able to take some of it out for the announcers. the announcer's feed is always very nice and clear. it sorts of takes a little out of the game for me. the loud crowd makes for a better experience watching the game at home.
