If the Rockets make the NBA Finals, I have the feeling the media will continue to ask Rockets players and coaches about the Warriors during the last series as if it matters. It'll be one of those situations where our folks will have to remind the media that there's an actual finals.

Yeah. Rockets finish with a b2b before the Break - traveling 1200 miles - so it would behoove having an easy game.

We're feeling ourselves a bit too much here. I appreciate the bravado, but let's celebrate when we get there. Last I checked we are still in second place. I think the Finals are Rockets vs. Raptors for the record. But, let's not let our guard down and think we can't lose any given night to a team that wants to show us up or play spoiler, especially DALLAS. Should be the locker room mantra going forward IMO.

We are 25-1 when Harden, CP3, and Capela play. Health permitting we are getting to 60.

Don't take the Mavs lightly. Defense first, move the ball, and blow them out.
    Go Houston Rockets!

Well Dallas tend to blatantly throw the game in 4th quarters against teams they aren't meant to beat, so I'm generally not worried about an 'L' here.

Ahhh, I didn't realize all of our starters were resting for this game. I thought there was more than one way to take an 'L' here, or in games like this, never mind then...

Bruh, generally I'd agree with your sentiment - I've been very critical of Houston playing down to competition in the past.

But Dallas this season are blatantly throwing away games in the 4th quarter to get that better draft pick.

At first it seemed like they were competitive but then the better team eventually won out. Except it kept happening over, and over, and over, and over again.

They're be tight heading into the 4th, then they'd just lose woefully.

Got to keep those winning fundamentals in play but also keep that higher draft pick too.

I understand, but I'm also referring to the fact that nothing is in the bag, and the moment the team begins thinking like that, is when you can take a season changing loss in the standings, or in personnel for that matter. Our starters need rest, one of MDA's flaws is playing our starters in garbage minutes unnecessarily exposing them, as well as having a short rotation for that matter. Every game is critical, especially until that changes, hopefully with the buyouts though...
