Asik played 20, Lin played 18. And Harden 46?!?

If they were going to make this a rookie game, they should have done it against the Spurs (which we are probably going to lose).

Interested to see McHale's interview. Lin/Asik injured or something? It makes NO sense to bench BOTH Asik and Lin for the entire 4th quarter.

 

Likewise, go back to your own CAVE as well. I am talking about Lin!

 

QUESTION:

Do you guys/gals agree with McHale on not playing Asik and Lin the entirety of the fourth quarter? Was he justified or was this a mistake? Could this have changed the game's outcome?

Why was Morris a DNP?

Why did he insist on playing Harden -46- minutes on the 2nd night of a back to back?

Asik - Has stone Hands , refuses to dunk, cant D Face up Centers

Patterson- Cant set a pick , Cant Rebound ,Cant defend against Above avg. PF

Parsons- Bricks alot of jumpers, Cant play defense at all

Harden - cant close out games , Cant play defense at all

Lin- cant shoot , scared to shoot because he will get bench, not great against faster PG

TD - Complete Trash

Coaching - just Terrible

As much as I am a Lin critic, mark my words that Douglas is not as good as Lin overall. Rockets should just trade Lin then.

45min for Harden was a joke,, he sprained his ankle in the 1st half and you didn't even give him some more time to rest ? it's not coincidence that he play like a difference player in the 2nd half, he was too tired!!!!

 

Despite his circumstances, the thought process that has you play Harden a full 45 minutes on the end of a back to back is one of the reasons I really want McHale gone at the end of the season.

He and to a lesser extent Sampson both don't seem to understand the concept of using bench players or resting because they are determined to win now even if it wears the players down.

 

Mchales is terrible...Overplayed harden, No timeouts, Short Rotation..ugh. We didn't see Greg Smith or Morris...

 

Our coaching staff needs to find new jobs. McHale seems like he doesn't even give a **** about the game. Is he even coaching?

 

We deserved to lose! Horrible D and bad coaching decisions. Had some glimmer of hope with McHale returning, but this was even worse than Sampson's usual baffling decisions.

 

Cole Aldrich is too goofy and uncoordinated to justify that much playing time. Asik should definitely been playing more and Lin should of subbed for Harden so he won't go over 40mins.
