In my opinion, that is Brooks' biggest weapon as an NBA player.

His speed, quick release and his ability to shoot off the dribble make him a dangerous scoring weapon despite his size.

In the long-term, I think Brooks could be a nice Bobby Jackson type scoring spark off the bench for the Rockets or some other team. Maybe even a Jason Terry-ish depending on his work ethic and development.

If Lowry can lock down that outside shot, he could become possibly the most complete PG in the league. Seriously. Factor in his defense, his ability to get to the line, his rebounding, etc...

Even if he doesn't become a great shooter, he does so many other things well that he'll be a tremendous player.

So far, the midget wrestler has yet to kill us like he did last game.

In Dallas, he was bullying Brooks in the paint and hitting his outside shots.

I wish Brooks, Lowry, and Landry would start the 3rd quarter to dodge the almost inevitable Rocket letdown.

this is how ariza should play offensive EVERY GAME. drive, drive, drive, and take 2-3 3s a game.

Is the dreaded 3 quarter coming up? Coming back in the 4th quarter against a strong offensive team like the Mavs may not be enough.

Better defense can keep us in the game, even if our shots aren't going down. I would like to see Chuck with Carl at the start, and bring in Luis later. I wish C-Bud was healthy,we might end up missing him tonight. He can compensate for Ariza's poor shooting at times.

I don't know. I assume there are several better candidates, including Landry on our own team.

Has a player ever won 6th Man and MIP in the same season?

The Rockets were shooting FT's so much better this year, but not anymore. They need to pull it together or it is going to cost them bigtime in the long run.

What I'd really like to see more of when our PG duo is on the court together is Brooks playing off the ball and coming off various types of screens for quick release mid-range shots.

The Mavs do that with Terry all the time.

I know Trevor is getting killed by all of us and I am not here to defend him as sometimes he makes me pull out my hair BUT his stats so far....

    2-5 for 6 points, 4 assists, 4 boards and +9

Do that again in the 2nd half and it will come out to be a nice all around game and if he is finally understanding that going to the hoop is his ticket then he should improve dramatically.

Im not sure but how can Brooks or Landry be considered for MIP award when they didn't have that bad of a season last year?? I thought awards like that go to guys who have a a terrible season then a great season.

I don't think Ginobili, Hedo or Granger ever had terrible seasons.
