That's because the players that get drafted by the rockets are picks for other teams that are trading with us.

If the Rockets were keeping those picks they'd probably have picked somebody else.

Yeah I also saw that Yao was almost gonna to cry in the last 2 minutes when he sat on the bench watching the garbage time. And on the contrary, TMAC just smiled even laughed, like he was the winner of the night, which really pissed me off. This team has no heart except Yao and couple others.

In addition, I don't know if Rick Adelman is the right guy for this team. In my opinion, we need a coach that's going to drive this team and push them. I don't see that at all from Rick....at least from what I see during the games. I wanted Mario Elie for head coach ever since Jeff Van Gundy was left go. He did some incredible things when he was an assistant at Golden State several years back. He pushed the players and put some discipline in them. One of the reasons why the Warriors' Monte Ellis is so good is because of Mario Elie.

I look at the Mavericks' coaching personnel and I'm so jealous at what they have. Avery is doing some great things over there.
If not, Mario....I really do miss Van Gundy.

Tmac has a VERY short determination Span....I feel sorry for the next team fooled by him. It will be all gravy year 1 and 2...but all down hill from there.

The game makes me wonder what the Rocket would turn out to be if we trade Tmac (20 millions+) for two 10million+ athletic players who're tough in mind and eager to win.

we play so much better when we push the ball upcourt. instead stevie and tracy just trot or walk down the court letting the defense get set. in our half court offense we spend like ten seconds waiting for the high post man to pass the ball. our offense is more rigid and stiff than the jvg days. i don't know what's going on but none of our perimeter players seem to know what to do in the half court set. luther especially does not know what the hell he's supposed to do as a point guard. he dribbles, dribbles, and either shoots the three or picks up his dribble. reminds me of a much worse stevie franchise.

Yao has been here for almost 6 years. It is time to blend in and learn the "take it easy, it is just a game" attitude from T-Mac. Otherwise it will be a loooong season for him!!

yeah where's the energy out there? can't he run up and beat everyone down the court or find someone else in less then 10 seconds?

on a side note, I really wish that we could've seen these new additions and this team under JVG for a year, but then again, this team is only 12-12, it's not like it's the end of the world

RA keep the same line up too much. If T-Mac is not well why let him there the whole 2nd half.

Too much Lutter, too much Battier that for some reason stop shooting the 3 in the secondhalf, RA needed to change the line up if not working. Too much half court offense, take T-Mac out and put some speed. Too many T.O in the second half that give the other team point and confidence and take the flow of the offense out of Houston.

Man Houston can't get break they can't keep a consistent rotation for a few game, if is not injuries, is RA changing rotation and minutes. First have a good rotation with different players and option, second half he got stock with the rotation that wasn't working I can understands Adelman sometime is he force the issue too much like he is experiment.

Well the good thing the West is still close not to much advantage in the game behind that Houston have and they can still finish 3 or 4 in the standing. 3 days now to get their game together and Rafer back.

No intensity whatsoever. Stupid guards can't hit anything; worst they commit tons of TO. Tmac was more like T-crap jacking up bricks as usual...What is this coach doing to this team??? When your strength is the post, you don't put your post player in high post and let the guards heaving bricks!!!! RICK ADELMAN's OFFENSE IS NON-EXISTENT!! THIS GUY IS PREACHING TO THE WALL. Another pathetic performance with no purpose and heart... Time to blow it up and send of these old veterans to retirement home.
This team squeal like a girl when face a notorious "soft" Mavs.

THE PERSON TO BLAME FOR THIS MESS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT LES ALEXANDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He hired JVG and allowed the team to develop in a certain direction. Then, he just yanks the cord and brings in a new coach and a couple of new players.

That doesn't work. This is not Adelman's, McGrady's or Yao's fault.

EVERYTHING is on Les Alexander. EVERTHING. It is the flat out truth.

Alexander THINKS he understands this game and meddled with something that was at least starting to produce results.

    THIS IS LES ALEXANDER'S FAULT.

    Rockets problems:

    1. most players seem to have low basketball IQ
    2. T-mac shoots us in and out of games by not playing within the offense and just going off doing his own thing.

    3. all of the "point guards" have some terrible fatal flaw that is exploited whenever they're out on the court. (Francis TO, hesistant; Rafer, shooting; James, never passes and forces circus shots; Head, has absolutely no handles)

    4. Other players are just inconsistent from night to night at little things like making layups (wells, hayes)

    Equals .500 team.

This game indicates that Rafer is the only true PG for this team. SF/ MJ/Head are just trash. Being a Rockets fan is getting

in this team there are only a few players that don't need to be pushed, including Yao and who eles? . All the rest are lazy asses who 100% deserve a dictator.
