Not true. The Mavs are better at a faster tempo with Devin Harris leading the break than they are executing a half-court offense. Golden State beat the Mavs because their guards were more physical and easily penetrated the Mavs perimeter defense.

need 2 show some replays in the locker room before the game of Stackhouse running up the score with that dunk in the final seconds from last time.

then let Deke and his elbows loose on the punk.

according to the rockets site Rafer is out again this game. Is that true? Regardless Rockets win...Francis needs to be more aggressive and needs to stop playing like a pansy. Hes a career 18 ppg player....he can easily be our third option, needs to apply him self. anyone else agree/disagree?

The West Teams are starting to come down to the pack, Utah is in a tailspin. Even with our struggles we are only two losses behind being the #4 seed(3 from being #3). Lets turn this thing around with a win tonight and get a nice win streak going to end the year to get right back into this thing! It is still Time!

Prediction: Bass turns into a superstar again. TMac turns into TChuck. We lose by 20.

The Rockets are actually -3.0 favorites in this game. I definitely would have bet on them had they been the underdogs.

If we cannot get up for a home game to beat the Dallas Mavericks after they played last night, then I will have nothing further to say because I will be slamming my head into the wall until I decapitate myself.

That's my take too. Rockets will win. I don't think Rockets are "feared" of this Dallas team, therefore if they play well they win.

I think Steve will start (unless physically he can't) and AB will play quite a bit this game.

    Mavericks-Rockets Preview
    http://www.nba.com/games/20071215/DALHOU/preview.html?nav=scoreboardhome

…. Rockets' woeful night at the foul line. They missed 16 of 22 attempts, and McGrady was 0-for-5.
"It's mental. It's just you and the basket," McGrady said. "And the fans definitely don't make it easy on you. Every time you miss, (they say), 'Awwww!' 'Awwww!' That's the worst thing you can do to a player - especially at home."

What does T-Mac want us to say….yay!!!???

    Maybe we should shout T-Mac T-Mac T-Mac!!!!

Aaron Brooks may get some real play tonight.

    Get ready for the highlights!

I heard on another site that Brooks might start at point today to match up against Dirty Harris

I think Francis will start. after several days rest, his body should feel better. Head will be the backup PG. We will see Mike James biatch again but James will play better and give better effort in chasing guards at defensive end. But please dont play James and Head together. It's a *****ing disaster. Aaron Brooks will see some minutes but Brooks will get abuse at defensive end.

The Rockets are only 2 games behind NOH and DAL.

A needed win! A Rockets win!

    102 - 94
    Go Rockets!!!

Why the heck not. Coming up to the trading period we want to see what we have. James isn't a pure PG and Steve isn't getting it done. I've always thought that Brooks could be something special. Maybe we'll finally get to see him in real action tonight.

im just thinking, they activated brooks, why would he see limited minutes..the head office is obviously thinking they need him, otherwise they wouldnt of brought him up to the nba, so i dont really see him getting limited minutes, he obivously has a job to do, and he will be getting the minutes to do that job...

their was a post here about him starting, that wouldnt be a bad idea, the guys fit as hell, and could run a two man game with tracy early in the game at a fast pace to stiffle the mavs...
