this what I was talking about on thursday, mcrady was awesome the last 30 seconds of the game, but the rockets still only scored 81 pts, and could not locate the basket all night.

I've got a gnawing feeling that any Rocket that signs with another team will have a much better field goal percentage.

I have to complain about Yao's play in the second half. Why didn't he go inside to draw foul? Dampier had his 3rd foul in the first half and 0 in the second half. Van was right, Yao need to get in there to get some fouls. All of us have seen how easily Yao scored when Dampier was in foul trouble. Unfortunately, Yao's fadeways didn't fall tonight. :(

Yeah, Francis has been lighting it up with his 42% shooting. When in doubt blame the coach.

Thank GAWD that JVG gets rid of any player that is primarily an offensive player.

I mean, Eric Piatkowski and his 3pt shot would be terrible on this team right now, he would totally screw up the chemistry by hitting his outside shots.

Man, I really think the Rockets ran a decent game, it's just that no one can make a damn shot! I mean, T-mac and aour pg's have been doing a great job penetrating and dishing but no one can shoot. No one :(

This game does not surprise me at all. If you look closely at what happened to San Antonio, they missed a boatload of their shots in the first half and it came back to bite them at the end. Tonight the Mavericks came out hitting from the go and that's all she wrote. This team can't shoot because it's composed of throwaway players from other teams' benches who can't shoot. Their only chance to stay in a game -ANY game - is to slow it down. That worked on Thursday against the Spurs and will work against the weaker teams like New Orleans, Golden State & the Clipps. But when they go up against the good teams like Seattle (funny how they have leapfrogged the Rockets like the Nuggets did last year, eh?), Phoenix, Dallas, etc., this is what will happen.

If you want to point fingers in blame, point them at those folks in the organization who go out and screw up the drafts, miss on free agents and make bad trades. This has been going on for 10 years now so nobody here should be all that "surprised". And if you are somehow counting on those same "geniuses" in the organization that gave you this team to build a contender around Yao and T-Mac, you are setting yourself up for a HUGE disappointment.

Good thing he put Bostjan on the IL too. Boki tends to make 3 pointers when he plays, terrible mistake on Boki's part. I believe he was 2nd in the league in 3-point shooting.

I can't wait for Boki to sign with another team and dominate.

when a team refuse to follow the rockets method of walking up the court this team will be in trouble and we still have not played teams like the suns, sonics, magic and wizards.

I was going to come home early and watch the fourth quarter (anticipating another comeback). Glad I checked the score around the third quarter and didn't have to waste my time...

    Great effort team.

When JJ is named to be a starter, I feel we are not going to win the game. I do not why, I just feel it.

Yeah maybe one of those players could be Yao.

This team has zero tradeable assets. Besides T-mac and Ming.

Since T-mac is new, Maybe it would be an entirely best thing for both parties concerned (Yao and the Rox) that they both have a fresh start.

The Lakers maybe willing to give up 3 players, Mihm, Odim and Butler
There's some talk that they are now just willing to give up Mihm and Odim.

    I don't know.

This team is in serious trouble.

It recognizes the problems (PF and PG) but can't do anything about it.

Crap players that are crap can't even be unloaded becuase of their fat contracts coupled with the fact that their crap.

Players that we could have traded or helped this team never materialized becus this organization gave up 3 picks and let go the same player for nothing. (Now this guy is shooting daggers for a team in the same conference)

I really don't see any way out for this team in this season and the next season's offseason.

If things remain the same what Free agent will want to come here and play for average to less money under a slow down nofun JVG system with a slow center to boot like when they avoided Houston in droves last FA season?.

I see no way out but to sucker a GM to take our crappy players for nothing even (free up salary cap) but that depends on brainpower of our management. Need I even say anything more about that.

    I'm so depressed.

JVG has finally completed the transformation of the Houston Rockets into the Houston Knicks. First it was the coaching staff. Then came the defense. Then the players. Then the offense.

    Now we have their fans.
    Bitter, booing fans.
