ClutchFans Game Thread: Mavericks @ Rockets 11/4/2006

based on the 2 games and 2 games only, I think we'd do great when Tmac take less shots! Unless when his hot or no one else could score.

he shot 8/24 against Jazz, if he gave Yao 4 of those shots or someone else we would have won it.
tonight, Tmac only took 9 of them, and that's how they got everyone else going/feeling it!


So mostly importantly for the Rox's offence: Get everyone else besides Tmac to score a lot at first, then Tmac can takeover from time to time! Because he's a superstar- so easy to create his own shots, he doesn't need to rush things! In this team the role players' performance are much more important for us to win. Obviously Yao's the most valuable player on this team, without his dominants in the middle, there's no way we could win consistently!

I love Tmac! But I don't want to see him turning into a 33% shooting player!

1. Rockets fans need to get it straight now, Yao is going to be the most unstoppable offensive force in the NBA.


2. T-Mac will be fine. Everyone needs to chill out with the T-Mac worries.


I have been following T-Mac's career since it began in Toronto. The one thing that is particular about T-Mac is he is a very slow starter. For whatever reason he starts very slowly. In fact he usually doesn't even really become "T-Mac" until around February.

Last year was hard to tell because he was in and out of the lineup so much, but his first year as a Rocket was typical, he paces himself, and tries to save himself up for the playoffs, one of the reasons why he is always the top performer every time he's in the playoffs.

The notorious slow start is pretty normal for T-Mac.

 

I have always believe this to be true. All T-mac teams have started slow. If Yao and Rockets can carry the team through the early start then T-mac could come around and carry us through the middle of the season.

Also is anyone else having problems downloading? I have been stuck at 67 for some time now.
