I'm slightly concerned at Tmac's play but look at it like this, we're only 2 games into the season and Tmac had a good preseason but has everyone knows, preseason means jack.

Now we're in the regular season, Tmac needs minutes to get himself back into shape to play at the intensity level that the Rocket's played with tonight.

It may take another 5 to 10 games before Tmac gets back to his old self, so while it is slightly worring about Tmac's scoring and performence, I say it's only a matter of games before we see the the old Tmac back on the court for the Rockets.

But on tonight's game, Yao sounded like an unstoppable monster and Alston backed him up with a near triple-double and Head scored the points in the 4th to give the Rockets a convincing win.

Add Wells making his Rockets debut tonight and Howard back, it looks good and the fans sounded great tonight from what I'n reading so I think all Rox fans should be optimistic this season because everything is falling into place, even the bad stuff people have mentioned.

LOL. Mark Cuban had some absolutely classic sourpuss faces during the game. The broadcast would check in with him every once in a while and it was hilarious.

I'm very excited about our home court.... but what I'm really happy about is my nba 2k7 predicting the blowout! when I first watched the computers dual it out I was very surprised to see that the rockets were absolutely killing the mavs and ended up winning by 34. I brushed it off and still thought we'd get beat tonight. wow. I'm simulating the NOK game right now... we're up 53 - 46 in the 3rd

    Welcomes
    Choke City

it's absolutely incredible. the gameplay... the graphics... the physics (best net physics is a game EVAR). but in regards to the game... it's 60 - 56 with 3 min left in the 3rd... yao has thrown away a couple passes.... but we look pretty good. novak's in! he burried a 3 like 2 minutes ago. lol this is entertaining

Not quite. You see, while you were busy being negative and predicting that Avery would "school" JVG, I was actually at the Toyota Center cheering on my Rockets.

Yes, it does build up. I don't think I can recall ever reading a positive or inspiring post from you, ever. It's obvious that you relish your negativity ... and I really don't mind if you think you've gotten a "rise" out of me or something. If it makes you happy, that's good for you.

That's all beside the point. Like I said, you are are one of the most negative posters on this board, and most of your posts suck. I don't think even you could deny that. So it's only fair to make you eat crow tonight. :)

A very good win for the Rockets. I was glad to see the X-Factor Sura on the bench. Imagine if this guy does come back and contribute. I hope the Rockets are able to do the same tomorrow against the Hornets.

yao cant do it all... if he's gonna have a high scoring game, you cant expect him to exert too much energy for defense or rebounding. do you want a 30/8 yao or a 24/10 yao? that is the question

patiently waiting for r2ks videoooooooooooooooooooo :D

Well considering I am in school in NY, I am quiet happy to watch Rockets on TV and I quiet content cheering them from here. I was there in spirit in Toyota Center tonight too brutha! But your hate has blinded you!

Quiet funny considering some of my posts in this game thread. :p

If you are looking for postive thread when the Rockets are sucking then *that* I cant give you! Sorry!!

I call it as I see it. If that bothers you then I cant help you out. Sowwy! :( Perhaps if Rockets start to play good basketball *consistently* things might get better for you??

Yes they suck to you because I call as it as I see it, and you like to live in denial when things go wrong. And no I dont think my posts sucks. I am in love with myself! You cant make me hate me! I am indestructible!

When I was leaving Toyota Center I ran into that guy with that sign. He was a huge Rocket fan said he despised all things Dallas. His shirt said something like NoWinski is a loser. Did anyone catch the sign behind the Mavericks bench some kid was holding it said I believe "Dirk Nowitski looks like a bear". I didn't quite get that one.

As far as a Rockets observation tonight, I'm not sure where Snyder got the rap he did, but Snyder is a serious effort player, from what I've seen he hustles and puts his stamp on the game by getting loose balls and steals. I know he's an emotional guy, but so far so good, I just hope JVG keeps running him out there, I like his game. Luther Head was smooth tonight too, he really got into a nice groove on about an 8 minute span of the game.

It was enjoyable to go deep into the bench in that 4th quarter and lose nothing on the floor. VSPAN was working hard. This teams depth is really something that will go along ways this year.

For those who watched the game. How Good were we? I just saw the score and thought maybe someone on Dallas didnt play.

And I was watching the Aggies gift the game to OU, if you want to know why i didnt see the Rockets game. Scratch that, I mean Fran gift the game.

    grow up man

Rafer'll have no trouble beating Chris, Chris can't shoot 3s.....
Yao can draw many of Chadler's fouls
    Tmac'll test his shots
    Wells scores 8
    Novak boombad NOH

and don't forget: Snyder in with 200% effort against the team that traded him with a 2nd round draft pick --- I would be pissed for the disrespect.
Oh, I hope he scream to Hornet's coach this time haha

The only thing that bugs me about Snyder is that sometimes when he gets the ball, he'll spend 10 seconds jab-stepping and faking. It totally bogs down the offense. But if having him do that a couple of times a game, is the price to pay to get all of his other contributions, I guess I could live with it. As long as he brings it on the defensive end, and keeps attacking the rim.

Same here. I think it stems from his inconsistent shot. He keeps faking for the defender to bite so that it will open up the lane for him.

If Snyder develops a consistent shot he could easily become the 3rd scoring option on the team behind Yao and Tmac.

As it is, I am still loving his attack the rim attitude and hard nosed defense. He is one of the few *tough* players Rockets have.
