so yao's doing pretty well. :p
i think alston's doing a solid job as a point guard, and head is serving as a good backup for now. i like it when alston uses his ballhandling/dribbling to his advantage. and head is sorta like rip, runs around and quick..plays smart and hustles.
i like novak..of course cuz he can add points, but he's not bad in other aspects.
I really like Snyder and Wells..big/strong/athletic/skillful players OFF THE BENCH
Mutombo started a little bit bad, but after that block, he started getting more pumped up.
Juwan for 1 minute is good.
Battier is pretty darn good at playing nonstop and just doing stuff quietly..no attention needed..it's like a consistent thing so that's good.

Tmac...isn't doing too well, except for the 3 point shot where he got fouled and that one fast break layup...but he missed the 3 free throws. His defense and rebounding have been good though. I think Josh Howard is outperforming him at this point.

I think we're best when there's more movement. Harder to guard, instead of static play.

Tmac with 2 points and we're up 52-38. That's beautiful stuff. I hope Yao rebounds more in the second half but if we win, it's all gravy.

what is wrong with the announcers...are they jealous?

what are they saying about Yao...the T-shot followed by the Baseline J-money with less than 1 sec and Erica all in his face

if yao doesn't get 40 points tonight i'll be upset with either the team not going to him in the second half of yao taking himself out of the game.

the way he's shooting and his 24 first half points only mean one thing....

i want to see 50 for yao!, but less than 40 will not be acceptable.

Besides Ming making the case that he should get more than 12 shots in a game (is he on fire or what?) and watching some superb Rocket's defense, what I really enjoyed in the first half was Bonzi Wells KICKING JOSH HOWARD'S ASS! As soon as Wells took a seat, Howard starting making plays. It was sweet while it lasted. And I almost forgot, Battier is frustrating Dirk with smothering defense. Unfortunately TMac is not shooting well again, but surely he is going to find the range soon.

I gotta say, for a guy who hasnt even practised for ,months, bonzi looks like a great pickup. the more he plays, the better he will be. we hit the jackpot with this guy.

If T-mac plays well, I think rockets can end this game in the 3rd.

    Yao's really asserting himself today.

And Mac...well...he needs to stop thinking so much. Those 3 free throws he missed at the start, you could tell, after the first one caromed out, he had that look on his face that clearly gave his hesitance away.

52-38 without Tmac on top of his game is great, but we can't afford him to be tentative out there, and the onus is on JVG to open this up for him.
