Concur. Many posters are unhappy with what they have seen over the past few years -- whereas perhaps Adelman hasn't seen enough of it yet.

You sound as if this is the first time this has happened to this team. Where the hell have you been for the past 4 years? Oh yes, I forgot, that was all JVG's fault. Well JVG is long gone but this is still happening. Why is that so? Is it now Adelman's fault or should we start taking a critical look at Mr. "It's On Me" and YM? More importantly, when are people going to start holding the players responsible for not getting the job done? And please don't use the SF3 excuse. Both you and I remember what it was like 4 years ago. He's done absolutely nothing since then to show that he's the answer to what's happening here. I can't wait for him to start playing because I'm curious what the chants will be after he turns over the ball a few dozen times.

The difference between Mavs and us can be summed up in our respective go to plays when a basket was needed: them, a drive to the basket for a layup; us, a contested 22 foot jump shot.

Where is the accountability? Does anyone on the coaching staff ever get on TMAC for not driving it to the hole late in games? Does anyone ever get on Yao for passing the ball out in single coverage? God I wished we had Popovich. Even Avery gets in his players faces when they are playing undisciplined.

Exactly also they changed the lineups to fit if they were Defense or Offense, we Stuck with the same lineup for crucial possessions.

Also that Mc Grady play was awfull i don´t think that is a good % shoot, but that is all T-Mac fault because he had room to go closer to the rim and he failed to it.

But let me tell you the BIG difference and is this.

Stackhouse 3pt Shot: Made (7 PTS) Assist: Harris (5 AST) 1:09 [DAL 89-91]

    0:52 McGrady Turnover:Bad Pass (6 TO) Steal:Howard (1 ST)

Harris Driving Layup Shot: Made (21 PTS) 0:34 [DAL 91-91]

    0:34 Yao Foul:Shooting (3 PF)

    Harris Free Throw 1 of 1 (22 PTS) 0:34 [DAL 92-91]

    0:34 Team Timeout:Regular
    0:24 McGrady Jump Shot: Missed

    Stackhouse Rebound (Off:0 Def:3) 0:23

    0:23 Yao Foul:personal (4 PF)

    Stackhouse Free Throw 1 of 2 (8 PTS) 0:23 [DAL 93-91]
    Stackhouse Free Throw 2 of 2 (9 PTS) 0:23 [DAL 94-91]

After this for them it was a free throw contest and for us....

0:20 [HOU 93-94] Yao Layup Shot: Made (30 PTS) Assist: Alston

And then James misses the second free throw and the 3 pointer.

Notes: Of the last minute we had one turnover from McGrady and a crucial foul from Yao, also Tmac failed one crucial shot.

Yao played well for me on during clutch time but T-Mac didn´t score for the last 6 minutes, his last basket was at 6:02, also the rockets seem like they had no go-to guy, not by default, not by play designation or not by personality (someone who asks for the ball).

It´s hard to say, but Stackhouse had more balls than the 5 Rockets that remained on court.

And to end it "Head for Yao" was the substitution made to go for the tie.......

Actually I hope that Dunk helps our players to realize that they need to seek for someting else that they don´t have yet.

T-Mac was penetrating late in the game. In the final two minutes, he got into the lane twice. On one, he passed out to Shane for a three pointer which missed. But that was a decent play. On the other, it was a turnover on a T-Mac/Yao pick and roll. Yao probably should have faded instead of rolled on that. There was too much congestion in the lane.

It's that final shot which really frustrated me. Outside of that (and the couple "heat check" shots he took), McGrady played a great floor game.

i really don't know why this entire board is calling for adelman's head. i'm not saying im surprised, but it just shows this whole board is so fickle. we played a GOOD game against a very good team, and we were whooping them for 40 minutes. had Yao not taken that stupid foul we couldve very easily won the game. the blame is on the players not the coach.

Well there's really nothing more to say on what has already been said. Play Francis pretty much sums it up. For the people that are negative towards this, the guy does not have to put up big numbers and do too much, just having him out there on the floor at the same time as Yao and Tmac is a big plus on his own. The toughness, heart, would-die-rather-than-lose, attitude says it all. Rockets fans hailed Bob Sura as the glue that held the team together in Tmac's first year here and gave us some toughness on the floor. Multiply Sura's talent times 10 and his heart times 100 you have Steve Francis.

If Battier can do all the "intangibles" on defense that dont show up on the box score, Francis can do the intangibles that help the team win by firing the team up: drawing a technical after a 3 point play, bumping chests with Yao after an assist where Yao slams it down, the possibilities are endless.

As for the game, I was dying for this win. But I'm not surprised that we're pretty much the same Rockets that we've have been for awhile: p1ssing away big leads time and time again. Rafer had a decent game with 18 points and whatnot but still those last few posessions we looked lost out there. The turnovers and Mike James chuckin as usual with no results and bricking the much needed free throw there at the end. Ugh.

What happened to those WE WANT STEVE chants? This was a game where it would've made the most sense to say it.

I am predicting that Mike James will soon go to the bench to be replaced by Steve Francis. Rafer will continue to play to the chagrin of all those on clutchfans ;)

As a Chinese Rocket fan,I feel sorry about the match...The revenge fails...
Rocket lost 5 in a row while Bucks wins 4 in a row...
Maybe they can rebuild their confidence by beat some weak team...
    However,I just want to say:
    Yao,come on! Tmac,come on!Rocket,come on!
    Remember:
    It's time!

Why we lost the game, TWO words, Mike James!

The guy doesn't fit any team play, has absolutely ZERO court awareness.

I was never that big on James in the first place. I always thought he was a one trick pony who plays selfishly. Perhaps Francis is going to replace him soon. They do pretty much the same things, except Francis does it just a little better. And he can get to the line.

I was in attendance, and drew one firm conclusion:

Luther Head CANNOT handle the point.
