McGrady plays like crap, Yao plays like crap, and yet the role players pull the team out from a near loss. Terry has a career high in points, Dirk is a no show. So it shall be.

Even though some people say the Rockets will lose and there is no chance at all, the Rockets will beat the Mavericks in a tight match.

tmac won't dominate the mavs like usual b/c it's his first game back, but yao will shut all the bandwagoners who have hopped off his bandwagon with a DOMINANT performance. scola will continue his great play. bonzi will finally make 2 layups in a row. and we will win :D

Yao has trouble matching up with Dampier because he's so bad, Yao gets tripped up expecting to play against a legitimate NBA center...

yao will have good game with aorund 25pts and 11 reb but tmac will be off. scola will continue his solid play and mike james will show up but i predict a close loss as terry and stackhouse light up the rockets once again. hope the rockets prove me wrong! :)

"I think playing with myself and Yao, when we're out on the basketball court, he feels that he doesn't want to be as aggressive because we take up pretty much the bulk of the shots. I've got to have a talk with him — tell him the way he played when I was out for the last two games, he's got to continue to play that way."

    tmac talking about scola

is this the vocal leader we want? a guy that talks :p

realistic. everybody thinking tmac will show up huge to extract revenge for being out or something is probably thinking too idealistically. not that he won't show up or will be rusty, but i wouldn't be surprised to see tracy defer more than usual. this will result in several good looks for yao, and a perfect opportunity for the big man to dominate a team with only one C (diop) with half a chance to defend him.

watch how the bbs will change when yao comes back to form. our 'trade yao' threads will turn into 'mvp yao' threads.

After a second day of practice, Tracy McGrady knows his right elbow is not normal.

"There's going to be some pain," he said. "It's not going to go away just like that. Whether I can tolerate it is the question, and I think I can. So yes, I will be playing, and hopefully nothing freakish happens on the basketball court."

i think tmac will be more of a playmaker/passer for the next few games until he feels better. the doctors said even if he plays, the elbow can heal. so i think tmac won't be mightily aggressive until 1-2 weeks from now. but w/ all the options, it's good for tmac to be a playmaker now so scola can still get a lot of touches w/ tmac on the floor, yao can get his touches, and possibly others can get theirs.

again, its all about getting every player on the same page. tmac will definitely have to sacrifice his points and touches to get others involved (if he saw how great our role players played w/o him) just so they can get acclimated to being aggressive when he's on the floor.

i think we'll have a balanced offensive output tomorrow. yao 25 pts, tmac 22 pts, scola 15+ pts and maybe 2 more players 10+ pts (hopefully).

We're gonna win!!! It's a back-to-back for mavs, which we may take an advantage of. Tmac better be careful with his elbow and play less aggressive. 20 assists will be good enough to give us a win! :)

That's exactly how I felt about Scola when Tmac was present on the court. He was playing the same role as Chuck, which is a totally waste of his offense talent! Now that he has got back his confidence and earned trust from Tmac, he should keep playing at a "MVP" level!

Does Adelman have a hard head to refuse Steve. Or he can see sth we can't. But i insist take Steve for a key to make Rockets to have a qualitative change.
