In no way to I want this team to be nor do I enjoy them being average. Been there - done that. I'm just saying that maybe we should be REALISTIC with this team at this point in the season.

I guess the wins against SA and Utah earlier were not against the "big boys"....

Its because the Kings PLAYERS made the offense... not this ignorant-A$$ coach. The players MAKE this league... the coach's main obligation is to put in the right personnel.

Case in point... Adelman's Blazers looked nothing like Adelman's Kings... why? Because the PERSONNEL was different. Players play how the feel comfortable.

I hate to say I told you so but midway through the third quarter I posted that the starting unit of the Rockets had played almost 30 minutes each. I said that unless RA made substitutions right then and there that the Mavs were going to make a run right about then and sure enough they did. Fresh legs from Stackhouse and Terry killed us. All I can say is that RA tried to play 5 guys the entire game. James sucked, Bonzi Sucked, Scola didn't get enough minutes. The entire starting unit was gassed in the 4th qtr. That is no way to manage a team.

Problem is when tmac goes to rest, there is no one, and i mean NO ONE who takes it to the rack. No one and I mean NO ONE can run pick and roll with Yao....hello? Francis? Bonzi sucks, james sucks, head is okay if he doesnt have to handle the ball...scola, looked like garbage today. TIME FOR FRANCIS

Tracy was spoon feeding Yao's shots all night. How many times did Yao score without an assist or an offensive rebound in this game?

I did not see the game, the box score says that Scola only played for 10 minutes!.....WHY?!..... And why is Chuck I cant shoot **** Hayes playing for 31 minutes?!

Some one tell me Scola got injured or something! If not, Rick Adleman is a total moron for not keeping Scola in the game. Or at least figure out a way to get him involved when Lazy Tracy Mcgrady is on the floor. Our new coach totally blows!

I have to agree.I mentioned this before about McGrady and someone said he does not have to be vocal, the team follows his lead. I am sorry but TMAC is not a winner. If we can trade for Artest and take that gamble that would be great.

We need more offense coupled with defense if we want to make it out of the first round in the Playoff.

We need players that can stop guard penetration. Just too many layups allowed

All this talk about Yao not having a killer instinct in the 4th qtr and T-Mac settling for jumpers is not because they lack desire. It's cause they played nearly the entire game without resting and were clearly left without any energy to compete with the Mavs as they continuously put in fresh players and freely substituted. Why we are leaving a potent weapon like Francis on the bench is beyond me.

I've been defending Adelman for a while on this. But at this point, I think you might be right. I have no idea what's going on in practice, but in games I know that Rafer's and Head's inability to run a pick and roll or penetrate/finish are costing us. I think it's time.

if i see the same rotation on friday and the same way he rests tmac, i could lose it.

ive seen how stubborn JVG was. if adelman is the same way, i think morey might just need to coach.

morey is flexible and just plays players that will help us.

I hate to say that Rockets were too "soft" (either mentally or physically) at critial time. Harris tried to hurt our two stars. Nobody even fights back and kicks his ass? Instead, we let him penetrate as will...How pathetic it is! For the play Harris got a 2+1, Yao should give him a hard foul or just let him score.

Hayes was actually one bright spot for the Rockets tonight. He had a total of 13 rebounds although he scored only 2 pts, he was +18 on the +/- stat.
That's about what Dennis Rodman did for the Bulls so I'm not complaining.

Exactly, that is why I am so frustrated with Coach A not using Steve or even Brooks. Steve can do PnR with Yao, and Brooks is quick and has a good outside shot. If Coach A still won't use either of them next game, I just don't know what to say...

Sorry, but that is a BS excuse for when we took the timeout to draw up a play which resulted in T-Mac dribbling around Yao to shoot a 20 foot brick. The ball should pretty much ALWAYS go in to Yao for a look at the basket and if necessary, kick out to the open man.

    NO EXCUSE.

    1. luther head doesn't do anything for this team. opposing players take so much advantage of his size. his defense is non-existent. he tries to drive and just throws the ball at the basket. i'm pretty sure i saw francis and tmac making fun of one of his lay-up attempts that didn't come too close to going in.

    2. rafer is terrible. brick after brick, man. this is no shooting slump he's in. that's just how bad his shot really is.

    3. shane? i don't know what to think about this guy.

    this game is frustrating...

    but it shows something

1.tmac need yao and yao need t-MAC

    2. why yao made the XXXfoul
why t-mac just made a shot but not drive to the basket
why mj can play the game so badly at the last

harris shows me ,..a good gaurd can be a good weapon..
    no one can stop him!

    why we don't one?
alston?right he play well in 3rd..but not in4th.. and he can only shoot the ball but never diver in...

james? yes, he know how to drive..but he never pass out the ball when he go to the basket..

    sf3..we need him
in the match that vs suns, sf3 showed us that he can drive to basket and made some fouls or !!!! pass out the ball !!

hey maybe with alston and mj we have 70marks
and if we use sf3, maybe we have only 60markS since sf3 not really good in shape or not match to the team right now.
but just give him a few time ... when he can adapt..
our team can get 80marks or even higher!

hey sf3 is a star! he has better talent than mj and alston

That wouldn't have achieved anything other than giving them extra free throws and costing us a player ejection (and possible suspension). The Rockets needed to fight back by playing energetic defense and smart, attacking offense. That's what we were missing.
