    Notes for Yao Ming:

Never pass up an open elbow jumper for Rafer's 3
You are the star, you should take responsibilities.

Why can't the Rockets seem to be able to create a play to get Yao the ball when teams are fronting him? Every team in the league will now do it, because it is effective.

This team sucks in not knowing how to close out tight games like this.

And to throw away big lead like 16 points or so after a great 3Q is even more criminal.

This is going to haunt them for a long long time that they could not win after such great games by Big Yao 30 points/15 rebounds/6 blocks/41 minutes and Tracy McGrady 15points/12 assists and a very rare breakout game by 0fer Alston for 18 points.

    !@#$%^&*()(*&^%$#@#$%^&*()(*&^%$#@#$%^&*(

Yeah I felt of all the games that we can't afford to have Tmac sitting on the bench, even with the lead, that this was not the game. This game determined the difference between a turnaround 7-5 or a 6-6 record. The Mavericks is the one team that you should not relax on. Adelman should have realized that we play BETTER with Tmac (everyone agrees on that-with the exception of TOHs perhaps). Tmac and Yao were a force that the Mavs could not stop, but Adelman kept Tmac on the bench far too long, and far too late.

But I did felt that Yao AND Tmac had a part in that play where Devin Harris drove past Yao because Tmac was the weak side defender on that one and should have come over to help or try to block the shot atleast. But I wont blame them for the loss because they (mainly Tmac) were the only reason we were leading in the first place.

Difference was guard play. Specifically Alston shooting 1 for a million on 3's down the stretch and Luther head being completely clueless as a PG.

Get JVG back!!! RA isn't any better.
MAC and Yao played hard, don't blame them for a loss, as matter of fact, they two tried to carry the team and failed to.Where is our so called deep bench? where is our so called smart coach? They are the one who are responsible to the loss!!

This is the straw that broke the camels back! Unless we want this team to be another 1st round exit team, then something has to be done. The team has no heart! We are depending on unproven, lazy, stupid players to get us over the hump. This team is turning into what I feared without Van Gundy> Gutless.

Adelman will continue to take this team down the drain. Face it folks. We are in for a long season. Doubt we will even make the playoffs since we are the 4th best team in the division.

What the hell makes adelman think that he can beat the same teams we couldn’t beat last year with the same effin’ roster. There’s a reason why morey worked so hard to bring these other guys in… PLAY THEM YOU IDIOT.

    I HATE RAFER!
    I HATE ADELMAN!
I’M BEGINNING TO HATE BATTIER! ( yeah I said it)
    AND I HATE LUTHER!

PLAY STEVE!!! HE ALWAYS BALLS IN THE 4th.

Morey should just trade Rafer and Luther and look at Adelman and say “Now what BEE-atch”

And NO, I don't want Van Gundy back

I don't want to throw blame on just anyone as a scapegoat, and I won't. Getting rid of Rafer might not get rid of all of our problems, but its certainly a start. Rafer has done absolutely nothing for this team in his 3 years here, except for dribble the ball up the court well. In every other aspect of the game he is substandard.

ya i agree. i wasnt blaming tmac. He was the reason we were in the game and had our leads. But ya, obviously our rotations are off. I remember JVG used to put Tmac in with 6 min left to go in the 4th. I think Adelman did pretty much the same. I'm not sure I've seen any signs of fatigue from Tmac to bench him early though.

And as cited a lot, this team does lack heart. Top that with poor decision making in the 4th, mental breakdowns, too much reliability on a single player, etc., etc. We just don't have that will to win like the top teams do. Dallas showed that they somehow get it done.

Time for trades. Too bad we can't trade coaches.

Its painful but I agree with you. The Rockets are looking REALLY BAD right now, and I don't see what they can do to get better....out coach is being very stubborn and even in the face of defeat cannot see that a rotation change is due.

I am about as sick of Matt Bullard and this dead man somebody Lucas in their post game report as I am of Rick Adelman and his non-existant coaching scheme. Clyde sucks too. They need to go back to Bill and Calvin.

Now on the game, 38 fourth quarter points to 20 to lose the game. Rick Adelman should be a man and stand up and take the blame for letting his team get outscored like that when the game is on the line. How do you think the players in the game are doing well when you get your ass kicked like that down the stretch? He rotations are a mess. He has no clue as to what to do on defensive. He only offensive strategy is to give it to Tmac. Did you see after Rafer shoot that 3 point brick in the 4th that Rick was yelling at him to give it to Tmac to bring it up the court and run the play? Some confidence he has in his boy wafer.

I have to admit that Rafer only sucked in the fourth quarter. Somehow he closed his eyes enough and prayed on some shots to get some blessings from somewhere. But the bottom line is that he WILL ALWAYS SUCK IN THE 4TH QUARTER OR WHEN THE GAME IS ON THE LINE! He is our problem #1, only.

Rick Adelman is the next biggest problem. Im not in favor of bringing back JVG, unless he and Rick will share the job as co-head coach. Maybe the two of them together can make a decent coach.

I hope Morey comes to Rick and tell him that he has traded Rafer to the D-league. Maybe then Rick will see if Steve can get some playing time. Bonzi and Scola need to play with the starters and get 30 plus minutes a game to get in the rythmn of the game.

I hate we lost, but anything that makes this team make a change before it is too late is better than a facade that we are a contender if we were winning games right now.
