I dont care if they lose as long as they do so while preparing the team for the second half of the season and the playoffs. But they arent. Adelman seems afraid to lose so he puts players out there with that mentality in mind and has them run plays like they did last season.

We need to get away from last years way of doing things. We need to run the offense his way consistently, make our mistakes now and learn from them. Doing this transition slowly is gonna kill the Rockets this season and in the playoffs in particular. They are still gonna be playing "half and half" with no clear identity when it counts. No good no good. :(

just proves how much more this team has to grow.

btw, rafer did good for 3 quarter tonight. i'm far from a big rafer fan, but to say he sucked is only accurate for his poor shot selection in the 4th. i cant believe he made 2 floaters in one game. unbelievable ...

yao did good. couldnt defend harris because he is a lot slower ... should have given him a little bit more room though. btw, i hate harris. what a wuss. fouls ppl hard and flops.

tmac just couldnt hit his shots. his elbow is still obviously messing with him. and it's made even more evident how reliable the rockets are on tmac. right when he leaves, we just break down. Luther showed some signs of life. Other than that ... MJ and Bonzi haven't done much since we were 6-1. I don't know. Something has to change.

I dont think i can take too much of the non killer insticnt in this teams leaders. Battier, alston, head and one of the big 2 need to go after this year if we dont make it out of the 1st...

Let me go ahead and say this! FIRE ALDERMAN!!!!!!!

This is a total mess!!! Where is the up and down game and high scoring he promised? Where are the cuts? Why is LUTHER HEAD getting any time? this guy has very little BB IQ and no HANDLES, bone headed play after bone headed play.

No I know why Minnesota let Mike James Go! wow!!!! and Bonzi

TMAC is slowing the game down like when JVG used to coach this time. LES Firing JVG was a mistake! Get him back!! NOW

How does your best player keep being the point guard and facilitator? where is the change in the offensive scheme?

Why does TMAC not drive when the game is on the line? you have had a bad shooting night yet you keep shooting? goodness?

If changes are not made ASAP, this team will not come close to 50 wins. A luther, bonzi and james bench will LEAD TO ANOTHER FIRST ROUND EXIT in the playoffs!

This is a pathetic mess, no way we lose this game. We have reclined defensively.

    Please bring back JVG!!!!!!

You can match up all you want, a no-heart team goes nowhere.

wow how the heck did they blow that big lead? whenever t-mac is out, the offense just seems clueless, terrible execution down the stretch, i agree that t-mac has got to be in the game pretty much the whole 4th quarter, they've got to really improve on that 4th quarter execution, hopefully it'll be easier to beat the Heat.....but what a terrible ending to this game :(

Another painful painful lost .. we were still leading around the last 2 min mark  ... why can't Adelman act like Popovich .. when mike or Bonzi are off .. put Francis in .. this is no rocket science .. just put him in for a few min
.. as expected Tmac elbow will affect his %FG.

Yes, we've been exposed by some great teams (Mavs, Spurs, and Suns). But then we got owned by a terrible team (Grizzlies) and almost owned by a even worse team (Bobcats). What does that say about us? Is it the team's fault, the coach, or how about management.

Adelman can point fingers at everyone all day long but the bottom line is this, SOMETHING is not working with the LINEUP. Issue boils down to two things:

    1. Our PGs have been EXPOSED big time during the last 5 games. What do we do about it, we continue to play the same two morons. Hey coach, how about letting that All-Star on the bench get a crack at some PT?

    2. How come Scola always disappears when TMAC's playing? We can't have that happen if we want to win games. We' gotta find some way for Scola to become useful in this offense. Rick, go back to the drawing board and do something about this Scola. He needs at least 10 pts per game.

Well, this team the weakest spot is mentality. After 5 games losing streak, and u have a big lead near the end of 3rd qtr and the players looked like they have already won the game. Some more focus, the Rockets should have blow the Mavs out of the court.

This is a soft team. Yao should give Harris a hard foul instead of a plus one at the end of game. At the end of game, T-Mac should drive and put up shots instead of kicking out or a 20 feet jumper. I expect T-Mac & Yao to take over the game in the final minutes. Put the team on their shoulders. NOt just finding your wide open teammates. They dont get pay to take those shoots. I just wondering should T-mac pass the ball to Chuck 'Nobody is guarding me' Hayes for a game winner if situation presents itself!?

i don't think we should blame tmac for that last shot. i think any other game, he would make those more often that not (he's obviously not comfortable w/ the sleeve).

the reason we lost again was that tmac sat in the 4th and the 14 pt lead is cut down to 6.

we shouldn't sit tmac out for so long.

The Mavs are the dirtiest team in the NBA.

Stackhouse, and Harris intentionally foul and try to hurt the player when they foul.

Dirk flops, Howard flops, Harris flops....

    That team cheats.

I am highly dissappointed that the Rockets do not have an enforcer, someone who takes matters into their own hands when teams play dirty.

Someone should have been undercutting Harris, or flat out punching him in the noggin on some of those fouls.

    Just get mad.....

Dang that hurt....the Mavs are dirty......

Everyone talks about making it out of the first round. This team isn't even going to make it into the first round.

Point 1. The *best* way to give up a big lead is to start chucking early in the clock. McGrady and Alston shot some really bad long range jumpers when there was plenty of time left on the shot clock. What happened to offensive efficiency? You want to get the highest percentage shot you can, not shoot "heat checks." After McGrady hit that three for a 17 point lead, I knew we were in trouble. He just kept chucking after that. We got the lead because he was *driving* but he is too weak mentally to keep driving.

Point 2. Alston and Head are absolutely terrible decision makers. They cost us the game with turnovers and horrible shot selection.

Point 3. Yao and Battier were too tentative down the stretch. They passed up great looks for horrible ones. Yao has a great look and passed to *Alston* who missed (of course) the three. Battier had an open 12 ft jumper from the baseline and passed to Yao who took a contested shot (possibly fouled by Dirk).

One thing TMAC and Dirk have in common: They're not big-time, clutch players. They both choke during the most crucial moments of the game.

it all starts to downfall after Yao passed out that midrange shot for Rafer's 3 and he bricked it.

Man....I am so discouraged right now. I really feel bad for Tmac. Adelman needs to step up his coaching game or he needs to be fired...I think he has forgoten that Larry Brown is unemployed.

Right now, the Rockets have no heart or identity. That will change before the end of the season.

    No balls. p*****s can't win.

This team is getting hard to like. No heart, and no talent outside of two guys. We'll be lucky to get another first-round exit. I hope Morey is learning that she-males don't win ****.
