    It was Maverick's zone defense and hack-a-dwight that held them in the game. The Rockets clearly was not ready for zone defense. This is a good lesson and they now know what they need to do

    I think you are hypersensitive to anything remotely negative said about his game, honestly. I'm not going to pretend I've read through this whole thread... I missed whatever commentary was submitted while I was actually the game. But I didn't read anything in the pages preceding your mini-meltdown where people were saying that Jeremy sucks -- not at basketball, and certain not at life. :confused:

    And yes, we will be better when Bev comes back -- though I don't think anybody said we'd be better with him to run the offense. He is an important part of our defensive scheme, whether you want to admit that or not. If Garcia were out, we'd be better with him back. If AB were out, we'd be better with him back. If Casspi were out, we'd be better with him back. Everybody in our rotation is an integral part of the team and key to our success.

    The question is why you take someone saying we are better with Beverley than without him is a slight to Jeremy. It's not. People other than Jeremy contribute positively to this team, and there's nothing wrong with people acknowledging that even if you don't. Not everything is a slight or a dig at him.

    How the hell did lin find harden at the 3:20 mark? Harden wasn't even in the play when Lin made the drive.

    People used to ask legendary PG Bob Cousy if he had eyes in the back of his head. Lin's got a little of that. The play was probably less risky than it looks.
