i agree about the training camp guys. none of them will make it the full season anyway because of the hard cap.

dekker looked raw but showed more skill that KJ. until KJ gets a solid jumper he wont earn any minutes. both will be out of the rotation this season, but KJ's larger contract makes him a likely trade chip.

i think thornton has a better chance than either dekker or KJ at being the 10th man in the rotation this year. he showed that he can still shoot, but his defense and general feel for the game looked better than advertised. underrated signing.

Kj and Capela were good i am hoping KJ can get minutes but have to think Thornton will be ahead of him and maybe Jet oh man we are so stacked

He has skills, just a matter of how badly he wants to make it in the league which starts with getting into NBA shape. We'll see......

Dekker looked great considering he is a rookie, 12 points on 5-10 shooting

hate fans who expect rookies to star straight away

Nice to see us hit some threes tonight.

Harden looked good, still struggling from three but who cares at this point.

Capela looks great, on track to be a solid backup for Dwight already at 21.

McDaniels had some nice plays, doubt he's in the normal rotation yet though.

Wanted to see some more Lawson but whatever, plenty of games to figure it out.

    McHale on. . .

(Dekker) Sam is getting more comfortable. Gotta relax, slow down, let the game come to him. Overall, for Sam, it's gonna take a little while. If you're coming to a team that wants to win and plans on winning, as a rookie, it's hard to play. The guys that do it are probably special and there are only a handful a year. Sam will have a chance but has to get his feet wet and it'll be a little while.

K.J. played well last night. Ability to do different things(coming out of nowhere for a blocked shot, elevate for rebounds, he's physically gifted.) It's for him, another guy, figure out what we're doing. He's figuring out how to be solid and impactful. Sam, K.J., they can't turn it over. They're figuring out how to be efficient and effective.

(Young guys) If you play hard, good things will happen. They'll have a road to the NBA through the D-League. D-Mo and Terrence went through the D-League.

-Brewer looks like hes been working on his shot this offseason
-Dekker needs to hit them open 3 pointers
-Thornton's stroke looked good and his defense looked good also
    -Capela was a beast
-McDaniels hit a couple nice jumpers and showed how athletic he is

Offense does look a lot more fluid so far. Off ball movement, not a lot of standing around, crisp passes, solid ball screens, etc.

i went to the game. He mostly looked good. He had one errant pass into the seats that was due to a misread or mis communication. Most of his shots around the baskets were layups. I don't recall any made dunks.

He was a strength on the boards out jumping players. He seems to have a knack on how to track down rebounds. He's just an athletic freak; he didn't however have any real competition. Dalembert is kind of a goof and Zaza can't bang down low.

I saw him swish a few free throws as well

I only stayed to the end of 3, so I can not comment on last quarter.

Very solid, looks like a great back up C for dwight. He played really well tonight but it's just pre season. I think he will defiantly be the back up C and prolly will end up having some pretty heavy minutes behind dwight and when dwight rest his injuries and etc.

Capella is really grooming into that backup C position. Looks like he really put work in this offseason. Hope to see more of Harden to Capella PnR this season.
