Nice to see Ryan Anderson putting in some work, and getting up after Bogut tested his surgically-repaired cervical spine.

Did Captain Jack@SS retire? Must suck for him making repeated whining and b****ing videos after the Rockets beat the Mavs.

Rockets have made the Mavs their b****es ever since the Dwight- Josh Smith pick n roll. They have never recovered from that obliteration.

He made one after the first Mavs loss. He's pretty upset.

I'm pretty happy with the wins against Dallas. I am looking forward to see how we play against the champs.

Only 16 assists last night. We had 17 TOs. One of the ugliest wins I've heard (I had to drive back to Dallas last night during the game). I will say the radio broadcast is amazing, way better than what I expected! I'm hoping we can buff out some of the issues we're having all around. 2nd facilitator off the bench needs to actually facilitate (Ennis). If Gordon is going to be that guy, than fine. Wouldn't mind D'Antoni trying out Bobby Brown in the next few games to see if that makes a difference off the bench in place of Ennis.

Ennis missed about 3 wide open shots back to back to back.

Some people will hate how ugly this win was, but at least the defensive effort was there. We contested most of their shots and forced them to hit some tough ones. We avoided giving them layups and easy buckets in transition for the most part. I can live with Barea and Matthews hitting contested jumpers. Anderson in particular gave a much better defensive effort than last game. We held them to 38% shooting, so all that effort paid off.

Honestly, I'd rather win games like this than with scores like 116-113. Every defensive lapse frustrates me much more than our missed jumpers. The Spurs of the early 2000's won games with scores in the 80's and few people complained about how ugly their games were.

Good point. The offense was sluggish. But last year we'd of lost this by double digits due to our defensive. Last night showed this team can play defense when they want to. If we play D like that consistently, we're a top 5 team easily. This was great too see

Actually, that was really nice to see. Also the constant switching on defense was actually really impressive. I'm starting to have more faith in this team that things will work themselves out. The fact that players are doing things they aren't supposed to be doing like Ryno going at the boards (Like playing defense as well) tells me they are being coached up. Hell, even Brewer had a decent game.

    This.

The Rockets of last year would have given up, lost this game and discuss how they all need to get on the same page.

We aren't loaded on talent. I don't know what your expectations are for the season, but maybe you should get them in check. I watched the Warriors/Suns game yesterday too. We played much better defense than Golden State and they have four all-stars, including the reigning MVP. They barely handled one of the worst teams in the West, so yeah I'll take wins wherever we can get them.

Or you can just be unhappy all season long. Up to you.

Then called a team meeting. Then we can all ask if they have finally turned the corner.

Defense is the main priority and it looks promising

A harden led mda type of offense should be the least of our priorities
