I was at the game and made the jumbotron a cpl of times . me and the girl who came with me had half skull faces it was so awesome.. Really helped when they showed us on kiss came LOL such a memorable time

 

This! I think a lot of people underestimate how different his role actually is. Sure, he was the de facto PG in previous seasons, but they are actually trying to run a legit offense this year. You see Harden giving the ball up a ton very early in the shot clock, within the flow of the offense, at times to his own detriment - by passing up what would be a great shot for him or an easy drive. It will definitely take him a while to adjust and to find that balance between setting up his teammates and relentlessly attacking.

Overall great WIN - it wasn't pretty, the team went cold in the second half, but very encouraged by the defensive effort they have shown these last two games. At the end of the day, a win is a win and a win against the Mavs is always extra sweet. The offense will only improve.

 

I was thinking this earlier. We had a LOT of very close, ugly wins that season... I didn't mind them then and I don't mind them now.

 

Glad the threes fell, Nene and Ryno had bounce back games and Dekker showed his worth. Some nice adjustments defensively or better sticking to the game plan, but an improvement. Rebounding wise at least Ryno tried. Helpside defense and rebounding is still atrocious. How many times Nene picked up someone on the perimeter only to have to race back to try and get it or foul happened way too often. Ryno & Gordon were the main culprits, but I'm sure Harden, KJ and others left something to be desired.

Speaking of Harden, while he had a nice first quarter and won us the game, he almost lost it for us too. Those lazy passes, falling down when losing the ball or complaining instead of running back is a bad habit he needs to shake. Brewer is so wild, it's getting really ridiculous. The first time he checked in he had a clear lane after a rebound and passes it to Harden which almost got intercepted. Later he did something similar. We were lucky he didn't go for the 1-4 break. That three was nice and you knew it was going in, but other than that it's time for Dekker or KJ to show they can handle those back up SF defensive duties.

 

So how long do we keep rolling out Ennis ? Whenever he checks in, offense stagnates. I miss Pablo
