They didn't even need to watch tapes... playing us 2x a year is enough for even the dullest minds to figure out our offensive schemes.

On a side note, Bonzi looks fantastic so far.

I hope they will cut two of the following three players: Butler, Landry, and Reed and keep Harris

Actually Butler/Reed might be more useful than Novak. Novak to me is on par with Landry as far as chances to make the squad.

Although Diop is far from being the 2nd best center in the league, they do have a pretty good rotation of 5s with Dampier, Diop, and Bass.

The Rockets' biggest need is still at the PF position. Scola looks too inexperienced and foul prone. Nobody at PF has the size to defend. If only we could trade some of our guard glut to get a decent PF backup.

He's playing very well within the system... made a couple of great passes to Yao for easy points and it seemed like he was going to make something happen every time he had the ball.

Dallas scare of putting their starters on court because they don't want to get torched by the NEW rockets. They have suffered enough from Golden State's hands.

Bonzi played solid low post defense. also loved the pass to yao for the dunk. bonzi looks like a different player. he's very unselfsish to.

Does anybody think that the snickers commercial on SopCast is really fake? Was that the point? I don't think they wanted us to see the guys dressed in black because the background is all black... that is just ridiculous how evident it is.

    Early photos from this game..............

Yao Ming in the midst of action in 1Q....scoring either dunking from low post or his mid-range bombers....., blocking shots.....

and WTF is that on the head of Bonzi Wells?? :D

    You mean Jeff Foster? :D.

I'm not too worried yet at this point, because every squad has their weakness, and it doesn't seem like the hole at the 4 is too much of an issue. Yao will be guarding all the best low post players anyways, and no team in the league has two great post players.
