That defensive lineup of Wall, EG, Sterling, and Tate is what brought us back. When he went away from it, we got blown out. I don't think the 5 Out offense had anything to do with the comeback.

with MDA, even with trash games, Rockets were scoring 120 easy.

 

Harden still struggles without the ball in his hands, he has to commit to moving off the ball - it is a big change, he CAN do it, but will he?

I don't think I've seen you post a single positive thing about Harden in game threads when he does well. Feel free to prove me wrong though. I think for every 1 good thing you ever say about him you say 20 negative

 

Yikes..seems like every time we had a chance to take the lead we either took a bad shot or rimmed out a good one. **** happens though, but Harden needs to play better (and I’m sure he knows that). The Mavs literally just loaded up on Harden like some teams did last season, and it’s both on Harden and his teammates to make the right play/hit the open shots and discourage the opponents from doing that.

Wish Boogie didn’t get ejected but it is what it is, I think with the good guys shooting so poorly it would’ve been tough either way. Losses are fine, especially early in the season, but to not learn from them would be inexcusable. Let’s see how the Rockets rebound from this.

When he has a good game, you dismiss it as "just" a regular season game. Interesting that it doesn't go both ways.

What? We cut into that lead before Wall even came in. That's absolutely what helped us come back, 5-out switch everything.

 

Me too. If he is hurt, he needs to sit. MDA ran everyone out there injured or not. If Harden just had a bad game, so be it... but he looked hobbled to me.

 

I should elaborate more: why he just play few minutes when not ejected?

Harden was bad

 

It's the same crap every season. We're terrible with the rebounds and can't defend in the paint. Out defense in general is pretty terrible. Been like that for years.

 

The 5 out offense is what got us easy points where the team looked somewhat competent on the offensive end.

 

Harden ankle affected his play no doubt. Very bad game from him. PJ was awful. Worst player on the court for both sides tonight.
