Deke got into foul trouble early. Sat out a good chunk of the first half. As a result the Rockets had a total of 11 (yes that's right, 11) rebounds in the first half.

This wasn't a contest at all. The Rockets were so outmatched, it was a farce at best. The Mavs scrubs were better than some of our starters. We had no bench, we had Luther Head guarding Josh Howard, Diop abusing Baxter inside ... I know Van Gundy doesn't want to take excuses or play the pity game, but at some point you have to realize it ain't just a river in Egypt. I'm glad T-Mac didn't even show up at the Toyota Center. It would have been bad for him to sit there and watch that, whatever that was. You can't quite appreciate how outmatched we were unless you were actually at the game. The Mavs were bigger, stronger, faster, and just all around better. At one point I realized that they had four pretty good shooters on the floor at once - Terry, Stackhouse, Howard and Nowitzki. And Diop was grabbing boards in the center. The Rockets had barely two shooters on the court, and not even one person on the team whoc ould create his own shot. I could go on...

I know it is injuries. But we have to point out the guy who brought so many old and of course injury prone players and overpractice them to this point.
    Fire him!!!
And do not blame JHo and DW, they played hard every game and they just can do so much at their last few years as a pro. They played with heart and deserve our respect.
When TMac and Yao are consistently double teamed, their teammates are supposed to get better. But can any one name a single role player who is getting better? Actually every one is getting worse. It has to be the system! It has to be the coach! He simply request every one to fit into his shoes!!! When this team win, it win with TMac and Yao's individual ability and has little to do with coaching. When Grizzilies, Suns and Dallas win, they win with a superior system. I am just so sad that JVG's job looks so stable...Wake Up, Les!!!

Only Yao and McGrady among all of our team, if healthy, would make their 8 man rotation. We might have another two or three older players who would compete for the occasional 9th or 10 th man spot with some of their younger guys.

Truth be told, the rockets lost the game as soon as the janitor turned on the Toyota Center lights this morning. i watched the game from start to finish. I guess i will have a good dream tonight , because that was a a total nightmare. :(

Mutombo had a bad game tonight and he's like 189 years old. But I think he's still better than the Mavs centers.

Wrong. They lost this game two weeks ago when T-Mac's back went out. :)

    COME ON GUYS!!!
this is progress. . .I mean . . they blew us out by 40 in the playoffs
    with YAO AND TRACY

Notice that our scrubs . . held them below a 30 pt victory
Imagine when Yao and Tracy come back!!!!
