Now Artest cant even hit his free throws..... Seriously if the rockets can get Joe Johnson next season i hope they won't sign Artest. I like Artest's competitiveness and hardwork but his ethics on the court sometimes are too much. He thinks he is Lebron James with 3 pointer? Come on, you miss more shots than T-mac!
I fail to see how the Brooks and Artest brickfest opens the games up for others since those two absolutely dominate the ball and will dribble away the clock until they decide it's time to heave one up in the general direction of the basket. Sure they could make a few better decisions and passes but who gives a crap as long as they're "aggressive" in trying to get theirs right? Screw the other 4 guys in red and white, as long as they look for their shot and have a nice stat line. yep.
Alston did a good defensive job on Brooks, but in general, I think it's better for Brooks to take even more shots if they are there. Yes, he needs to get better at his passes and decision-making, but at the same time, he's not required to be a traditional PG.
