This will be Martins break out game, I feel like he was really nervous the first few games. In the long run he'll work out for the team, there is no doubt in my mind that he can be the player he was a few years back. The best thing about him, is his ability to get to the line, every team needs a couple guys like that.

Martin is starting!! About freakin time!! I'm sorry it gets awefully tiring seeing Ariza clank 3 after 3 after 3 every game.. Yes, he goes through stretches where he heats up, but only for a few games at most. Then like usual he can't hit water if he fell out a boat!

I'm predicting after 2 practices, Martin is going to do very well. I see him coming around a lot of screens shooting pull up jumpers, or driving to the rim. Anyway, it should be interesting.

    magic 113 rockets 91 Martin scores 16,Jeffries 8pts/12rebs

just dont drink a glass of prune juice before or after the game. i did that last game and Ive been farting nonstop for 3 days, even as I type. Imagine crude oil mixed with gasoline. Not to mention I ate a bunch of tuna last night so now its a dead animal smell. And for god sakes if you watch the game at Double Daves pizza dont pour a bunch of crushed red pepper on a jalapeno pizza. It tastes great but 3 hours later it will feel like someone put a blowtorch to your behind when you go to the bathroom.

This game is going to be tough. Dwight Howard should go off.
But I believe this will the Kevin Martin show for the Rockets.

I think we're gonna win tonight. If for no other reason, than that when all the pessimists get really pessimistic and say we stand absolutely "no chance" that's when the Rockets usually do catch us completely off guard with a huge win.

I get so tired of seeing posts like this. Why is it that some fans feel the need to disrespect our players at every opportunity? Why so much hatred? Yeah, we get it. You don't think Kevin Martin shoots well. His career stats wholly disagree with you, but we get it.

After half a season this year you think he deserves this kind of disrespect. Now would you mind not telling us in every single post you make that you can't stand the guy? It honestly seems like every post you've made since the trade has been a jab at Kevin Martin. It gets old and becomes more annoying than you think it is amusing.

My god it was bad enough having so much disrespect and negativity flying around when TMac spent time here during his injuries, and now that he's gone we can't even fully escape that. We freaking get it already!

I'm about ready to put you, as well as the next person that disrespects our players by making fun of their names, on ignore. Which is a shame because I'm sure you actually have something of value to say outside of how bad you think Martin is.

Have you seen Ariza play lately? In his last 7 games he's shooting 43.4% from the field, 42.1% from the 3 on 5.4 attempts and 82.4% from the FT line, which is respectable for any wing player in the NBA. In the 4 games since the All-Star break he's shooting 47.6% from the field, and 50% from the 3PT line, hitting all 6 of his free throw attempts.

Sure much of those numbers are inflated by his game against MIL (72.7%) when he went 6/7 from three. But in February, he's had games of 43.8% (MEM), 40.0% (UTA) and 54.6% (IND). Yes, he's had a 20% and a 33% game in that span, but there have been more good shooting games than bad ones for him lately.

I've noticed that he's stopped taking dribble shoot 3 pointers. And in 10 games since January 27th, he's gone 33.3% or better from the arc in 8 of those 10 games. He might have a bad shooting game after a few stretches of good ones these days, but it doesn't seem any worse than anyone else on our team.

    I don't think Ariza's 3-point shooting has really been a problem lately.

I don't know, ever since a little before the trade up until now, Brooks game has been AWOL.

Probably a mix of trade/new teammate jitters, he'll just have to play through it.

If you mean 'our' being the Rockets, you only refer to a certain portion of Clutchfans. This portion is called Rockets fan.

you can figure out why he hates a brand new Rocket.

The combined record for the Knicks, Kings, and Rockets since the trade is 0-8. Will the Rockets make it 0-9 or 1-8?
