Ya at this point Rockets and Hornets are **** out of luck this year. The teams are starting to seperate in the standings.
i'm not so much dissapointed with the score but when is Martin going to play like he did in Sacramento??
Rafer Alston(06-08 first half) -> Ron Artest(08 second half, PO) -> Trevor Ariza(09~ but injured) -> Kevin Martin
I think its all mental for KM. Not only was this his first trade ever along with the pressure of proving to the Rockets and fans alike. Honestly, I blame his poor play on RA. Nice going, you finally decided to put him to start only b/c of someone's else injury, so he gets to start by default. RA should have started him on the very first game and just limit his minutes. RA always freakin does this and it ruins the player's confident as well as their relationship. KM is a starter and his play from Sac proved that. Its idiotic to keep a 20+PPG scorer on the bench.
wow.. some of you "fans" are overreacting about the smallest things... get over it we are in a shooting slump.. things will only get better form here on out. Honestly if u think this is bad how did you survive the stevie and mobley years.. now THAT was bad.
In JVG era, if we can't score, great defense still earn some respects for us. But now, we lost both offense and defense, we have nothing...PATHETIC...
They need to run some plays for him, I've seen him just stand there watching the play... Either he's being lazy...or he's being told to stand there... I've also seen him run off a screen only to see the PG just ignore him, which is always fun...
Even if he doesn't for the rest of the season, I'm okay with that. Unlike some idiots posting in this thread, I understand that he is coming back from a broken wrist, he's just been traded from the team he was with his entire career, learning to work with new players, etc.
Who exactly again are these 5 brand new players that are trying to learn our system? I see all the same players that have been playing together all year round with the exception of Martin and Jeffries. I'm not even counting Hill or Temple as they are getting less than 10 minutes a piece. Just be honest about your assessment. There was no way a team of AB, Scola, Battier, Hayes, and Martin as the starting five aren't going to beat very many good teams.
martin+ariza due 17 million/yr for another 3 years atleast. Morey is god? i couldnt help but think about the iggy/dalembert trade , morey better turn those Ny picks into bosh(he wont, bosh is staying) otherwise we are screwed And flipping back and forth to the mavs game, deshawn stevenson looks really good, possibly better than martin post-injury. really should have forced the butler/haywood/stevenson trade.
