LOL. Everytime Howard gets the ball, he says to Yao, "I own you biatch!"

LOL, did you see that brief mistake on the scoreboard? They were so used to putting up the points for Orlando that they gave the Bonzi basket to ORL.

Even if you transfer your great heart to Yao, he would still be slow. He's not doing great, but he's doing quite ok, especially how he started. A more realistic question would be, why did they go away from him? Demanding the ball? He's doubled even before he has position.

I have been following TMac since his Toronto days. No matter how suck Isiah is as a coach or GM, he has great eyes for talents. But I have to say, today, TMac's action is beyond inexcusable. I am afraid I might start to hate him.

Yao is becoming more and more passive.

yao is also guarding howard 1 on 1 while they are doubling him on the other end. RA is just an idiot. But ****ing Yao needs to demand the ball what a stiff

Rudy Gay just put up 23 in a win against SA, I am guessing we could use someone like that.

    Toronto L (embarassing)
Philadelphia L (hideous; Yao calls the team soft after this)
Detriot W (predicted L and we deserved an L)
Dallas L (predicted L; terrible loss at home)
    ==============
Orlando L -- Looks pretty likely now.
    Denver L
    Chicago W
    Detroit L
    Memphis W
    Toronto L
    Golden State L
    Boston L
    Orlando L

    (14-19)

The Rockets are so stagnant when Yao is the focus of the offense. They're just at a stand still so much that I think it kills any rhythm the team might be in unless they're actually making their perimeter shots. Unfortunately most of our current roster is better suited for constant slashing but the transition from a stand still dump it down offense to a drive and dish offense is so backwards.

And the current slashers on our team are over the hill, so they can't even finish half the time when they make a play. Bonzi in his prime, Francis in his prime, James in his prime, and hell T-Mac in his prime and this team is a championship contender. But add a bunch of injury ridden over the hill players that used to be consistently good, and this is the product you see.

I will say this though towards the end of the 3rd the Rockets minus Yao were actually moving the ball around more efficiently, and started making shots once they were in a rhythm. I love watching Yao play, but I honestly think without Francis & Mobley early his career, and T-Mac to carry him, Yao would be in a similar mold to Shareef Abdur-Raheem. Actually that's too harsh since Yao is capable of truly taking over, but the record of this team minus McGrady supports my claim pretty well. He's someone that can pad stats, and be the focal point of the offense with a bunch of stand still shooters, but just isn't franchise material. We overrate him so much.

obviously if tmac were healthy i'd throw him in there and we'd have a chance to win. lets be honest, tmac and yao are the only reasons we win. we can't possibly get less production from the supporting cast. why not put guys out there who will make open shots?
