I hope the coach and players can break away from their busy schedule (tux and tennies, shoe deal signings, and all) to show up for the game. When you are having so much fun, it is kind of a downer to have to play one of the hottest teams in the league.

Time to show that Yao is still the best center.

Yao will score more, but Howard will rebound more in this game.

Will be interesting to see if Rockets will double team Howard. We know for sure that Magic will double or triple team Yao.

Whether Brooks will play or not, Rockets will win. Both Yao and TMac will have a good game. In addition, one of those guys (Luis, Bonzi or Head) will have a good game. And that is all we need to win this game...

Actually, after the first quarter they totally took Howard out of the game. I have said this al along- Howard has the same problems as Yao with being fronted, ad unlike Yao doesn't have a versatile arsenal of post moves and no range in the jumpshot.

The Magic are a very beatable team. They are a 3pt chucking team who has made more 3's than the Suns this season...slow down the tempo and make proper rotations and their offense will be held in check. Offensively the Rockets have to go after Howard and get him into foul trouble, and also have to take advantage of any easy oppertunities off of long rebounds that they willg et from the missed 3pt shots of the Magic.

Jazz loss, Hornets loss, it's a mud fight for a playoff spot.

come on, let's win one game. If the Rockets are behind the Blazers, then I am really pissed.

Tough Game, big loss if McGrady is unfit or unable to play
Yao must be selfish in this game and not play like a Center Point Guard, otherwise his stats will take him far away from being compared as the top Center. Yao needs 38 points 13 rbs 4 blocks, 0 asts

 

We won the game against the Pistons despite playing very poorly. That's all I am saying.

But we didn't play very poorly, just at the FT line. We played very tough defense, and Hayes' airballs and dropped passes cost us a lot of easy points, but overall it was a solid game. had they made 13-18 FT's instead of 3-18 or whatever it was, it would have been a blowout win.

 

Here the chance finally comes for dwight howard to prove himself, he's strong, let's see how Yao defends his best-center title in many rox fans heart.

 

We need this W for so many reasons...

Yao has owned Howard in their past matches, but this season Howard's been a monster and is definitely out-performing Yao so far.

Magic is most definitely beatable, if this were the start of the season we would've predicted an easy W.
