    yeah I don't get it

Yao just sits there like a statue and tries a fadeaway jumper everytime

gotta mix it up or try something else :|

I don't know what's up with his bad shooting %, may be he's having trouble because McGrady isn't playing, and therefore defenses can concentrate on him more so than they can normally afford to.

Anyways, still another half, hopefully he will convert on more shots. Regardless, I love his aggressiveness out there in going to the basket/blocking etc. At least I can finally say that Yao got that part down (more or less).

Tell me, is it my imagination or is the Rockets fast-break the most inept it can be?

These guys need some time together, and T-Mac is, yes, out, but man, if they could just finish on the break, chemistry wouldn't be such an issue.

Hopefully it'll get better. In the meantime we gotta hope we can pull out victories by the skin of our teeth.

to be fair, those fadeaways were not low % shots, normally. they just weren't falling tonight

Dreary game, the Rockets look really out of sync, BUT, Head and Swift are showing worlds of potential. Oh my, I see the future, and it is good.

I'm listening to Gene. Is this game as painful watching as it is on radio? Both teams must look awful. Even Gene isn't cutting Wesley any slack, which kinda shocked me. He said "11 minutes, 3 fouls, nothing else." LOL. Wesley must have lost all confidence in his entire game. I think JVG will be forced to give up on him. Luther's only got 7 minutes. In the 2nd half, Luther needs to get more playing time.

I can't imagine being a Magic fan. Judging from Gene's play-by-play, they could be the worst team in the NBA. And we can't even shake them. A loss today would be worse than losing to the Hornets.

The defense is shading 2, 3, and sometimes even 4 defenders on Yao so he's not getting a whole lot of open looks. Plus Dwight Howard is just a beast and got a block one straight up on Yao. He's just got to adjust and make some space down low.

Yes it is, very painful. It is like the teams are playing in a pit of wet concrete, no flow. TMac would be making a HUGE impact of this game. Swift and Head show you flashes of sick athletecism. That and Ming's early aggressive play are about it.

on a side note, rockets games haven't been this boring since our games with SA last year (even though tmac hit the game winning shot, that game was still awful lol)

I'm abit worried. Tonight Francis is efficient with his solo play (able to finish). When that happens, he can win games.

I am just afraid that this will be another loss if we still play like in the first half. If we let the magic hang around with the score, down the stretch we will be panic again since we want so much of this win. Better have a good start in the 3rd qt

At least Juwon Howard is making shots this game. Nice to see him draining that jumper.

The offense is just stagnant, we are heavily depending on dumping the ball in to Yao and other players stand around and watch, meaning a slower-paced game and less scoring.

The only reason we're hanging there is our defense, IMO. However, Orlando can start scoring quickly, and at this pace we aren't going to score a hell of a lot of points.

I think we are going to have to be extra patient with this team, because although we have good talent on paper, it will take a loooong time to get this team on the same page. Until then, it will be a rocky road but hopefully we can still get some wins.

That's why he's starting over Stro. JHo might not be the best talented PF in the league, but he's easily one of the best teammates you could have because he's the 'ideal' team player and knows how to fit in...he's a very savvy guy
