Back here again, suprisingly, not seeing a big show from Yao, but watching disdainfully how shameful and ridiculous it is a show put on by some Yao hater or Rox' "fans" in appearance... well, all I can say is ignorance is the mother of prejudice  "a little pot is soon hot" :D

im reading how everyone says that the rox should do better because yao will improve a lot this year. while that may be true, i think additional factors that are unsaid are that cat and steve are improving a lot this year too. cat is a sniper behind the arc and steve is taking over. im looking forward to the game when our big three are on.

plus i want to give props to pagett for beating the stereotype of the white guy at the end of the bench. And braggs too, proving why he was the guy picked over everyone else in preseason, good to see his hustle in a rox uniform. cato, another solid performance. we made more changes than we realize over the offseason but they have been working out really well so far.

eddie and mo's problems, agriff and pikes injuries, these factors could be valid excuses if we were losing, but we are winning, regardless that we are missing a starter from last year and now our sixth man. im feeling hyped about this season, now only if we can get some better competition.

What game were you at!? Toyota Centre was soooo quiet. It really annoyed me - it hardly ever got loud and when it did it was just people yelling for shirts. I was dissapointed at the lack of noise....after the bandwagon fans in this city see our great record start to build up this year, they'll come and the place will get louder.

I agree. I'd go as far as to say the single biggest reason we're off to such a hot start is that Stevie is playing a much smarter game than he ever has before. Whether that's JVG's influence or just Stevie finally get the point, it sure is a welcome sight.

Yao had an off night, but still manage to get a double double. If any other center had those numbers, we would say that was pretty productive. Steve and Cat are playing awesome. I think this season is gonna be something special. Go Rockets!!!!!

That's kinda asking a lot, doncha think? If 4 points in a minute was a breeze, then the Rockets would be averaging 170+ ppg. ;)

I would like to remind those that feel that 18 attempts was not enough.
Those are only the ones he shot...his hands were on the ball much more than that.
The game was run thru the inside for a greater majorityof the night...but it wasnt working.

If you really care for the team as well as Yao...you will recognize that even though Yao wasnt having a good shooting night, we did win the game.
    Why is that I wonder?

Cause the guards yall are always slamming took the game over and made sure we would win.

    one last thing..

    Yetti.

    stay away from the sarcasm..

you are not good at it.
hahaha..Yetti a Yao hater?? what a joke. you noobs need to getcha some sarcasm detectors...

I've got a solution. Jeff Van Gundy should make all the garbage players not shower for the entire season. That way, after a week of not showering, they'll be able to get all the rebounds they want because no one wants to touch them.

I think all the players should roll around in manure right before the game--they'll be able to penetrate the other teams defense as if it wasn't even there.

It's encouraging to see us pull though even with Yao having a bad game.Braggs rebounded well,I didn't think he would do that well. He missed a lot of the preseason games and isn't clear on what to do on the offensive end.If he keeps on practicing hard he should get better but we did miss Mo's scoring off the bench despite the win today.Cato did his best but Yao needs to keep on working with Ewing on his positioning so he can score more efficiently.
We can't afford to see JJ missing so many shots either, fortunately Padgett did a good job to make up his absence.

Great effort by the guards and a good win. Yao was gang raped by both the Magic defenders as well as the refs tonite. No calls:mad:

JVG should complain more to the refs.

Fantastic win tonight. The Rockets need to follow it up with a win over Miami, before the horrific Dallas loss.

NICE WINNN!!! I was proud of the way they played as a team, & when they were in trouble the 2 old guards came through! I think YAO had an off night, even the "DREAM" in his prime didn't always have good shooting night (rarely of course)...but contributed in other areas, like Dfence, RBs, block shots, etc. :) Yao did have 16 pts. He also have some nice assists & 11 RBs. He also clogged the lane 4 the most part! For alot of players in the NBA, this would be a good game for them;) . NO stupid Bradley comparasons(sp) here;) ! The DYNASTY will do fine & I like the fact that he was trying 2 b more assertive by taking more shots....eventually alot of these will FALL 4him! Also, I LIKES the play of Boki & Padgs! Wow, wait till we get EP back, so other teams won't collapse too much on Yao! On a lighter note, I don't think that was the real Yetti posting! I think while he was happilly typing away on his keyboard, a group of anti- ROXS thugs kidnapped him & wrote all of these UN-Yetti like stuff about our beloved Rockets!;) :D j/k!
