ClutchFans Game Thread: Magic @ Rockets 10/16/2013 (PRESEASON)

I'm hoping Harden sits this one out because of his wrist tweak. No need to further aggravate that injury during the preseason.

This is a good day, first the Rockets at 5 pm then Revolution at 8 pm. Woot!

 

So Bev starts and if Harden is sitting out to heal up his wrist, maybe both Point guards can start.

 

If Harden doesn't sit out, I hope he lets Beverley and Lin take care of most of the ball-handling. Besides, his spot up shooting is money.

 

I don't expect anyone to sit this game besides Asik if Hardens alright and his wrist is nothing serious then I expect to see him play

 

but the one thing I do expect is a slow start cause all the players talked about jet lag and being tired

 

What are you guys talking about? I just saw Harden's post-practice interview from today. Didn't say anything about injury or sitting out.

 

If Harden is out, then Lin should probably start.

 

Asik and Camby are the only ones listed as (formally) out in the game notes. We shall see.

 

Those crazy Magic people are using Oladipo at PG. Oladipo can only dribble in a relatively straight line and he is not a good passer.

I expect Lin and Beverley to hound the living crud out of Oladipo this game and maybe let Oladipo to set some kind of turnover record this game.

 

Where did you see his post-practice interview at?

 

I'm going to the game tonight, and Harden better be playing!

 

Oladipo guarding Harden. Will be interesting since he was superior defensive player in NCAA.

 

Rockets.com. I would embed the video but I'm typing from a phone. Also, it was after shoot around, not sure if they practiced.

 

I can't wait to see Beverley guarding Oladipo. Should make for an intense match up.

 

I hope Reggie Williams gets some solid playing time so we can make an educated decision about keeping/cutting him.

I know 790 is the home of the rockets, but Iheart radio won't air the game. Is there another website/station where I can listen to the game from my computer?

are u sure I was listening to that station and they said Rockets coverage starts at 6:30
